Yes, but a terrible idea. Turns too slow. Get an angle grinder. Even a right angle drill would be far better.
Not really doesn’t have a very high rpm we used it for the roof support cables on bay windows that were tight to the soffit with a 3/8 socket to drive in the support plate and bolts
I don’t think so. The rpm’s are not enough for grinding and the impact function under load would not be ideal for grinding.
Probably not, the RPMs won't be high enough and you won't be able to cut cut-off discs that will fit in the hexagonal bit holder. Buy an angle grinder, they are cheap and will do the job.
I don't believe you can use this great tool as a grinder. This little wonder is great for tight quarters. Buy a grinder. Use the correct tool for the job it was meant to do.
No, it free spins. That being said it has quite a bit of power to it. Glad I purchased it.
No, it doesn’t have an internal ratcheting mechanism like the m12 ratchet does.
No. It does not engage load unless under power.
No it will just turn
No, this does not keep the bit from "free-wheeling" without power being applied. No power, no force.
I have not tried that exact thing, but the driver has lots of power. I would think a straight impact or driver would be a better long term choice as the 90 degree head is really designed for tight spots. If it's your choice I would certainly not hesitate to think it would run the screws all the way down and break them off if they were stubborn :).
With ease. Lots of torque.
yes just have a battery charging
Sure. It has enough power to drive screws into softwoods like that, but unless you have limited space to work in, I'd recommend using their regular M12 impact driver, you'll get more weight behind it and drive the fastener straighter.
This impact as no issues driving deck screws in so long as you keep adequate pressure on driver head. I’ve had it for over two years. Not a single complaint.
Yes, but slowly. I use mine in basements for those tight spots between floor joist where my nailer won't fit. The longer screws drive in but slow down near the end. I wouldn't want to use it for a whole deck.
Yes
yes
Yes the light comes on as soon as you drop in the battery
Yes the light foes come on at the same time and is goid for those tight spots that I find myself working on. I didnt know about the M18 volt when I purchased this one ... it may be s better buy with more power and longer battery life.
