Siemens Quadplex Type QT breakers are a 1/2 in. frame per pole and are suitable for use in Siemens panels that allow CTL type QT breakers. Quadplex Circuit Breakers provide overload and short circuit protection meant to protect your home's wiring from high temperatures caused by excess electrical currents. All type QT circuit breakers are plug-in style and load terminals are provided with the units. Quad breakers provide two sets of common trip, 2-pole breakers. They are rated for 120/240-Volt AC and calibrated for 40C maximum ambient applications. The standard interrupting rating is 10k AIC.

Can this safely replace a 40/20 fuse that seems to trip during very hot days on my ac unit?
Not without upgrading the wires to handle the extra amperage. Unless they are oversized already. Otherwise just call the fire department instead of flipping the breaker.

This is hooked up to my well pump on the outer two switches and my mini split with the inner two switches, if I change out both to a double will they still work correctly?

Normally dryer circuit is 50 amp continuous. With 3 4awg aluminum or 3 8awg copper wire with separate 10 awg ground
