About This Product

The M18 FUEL 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver features a POWERSTATE Brushless Motor that delivers 0-3,000 RPM and 0-1,800 in. lbs. of fastening torque with constant power output under heavy load to drive screws faster. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence is the most advanced electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. REDLITHIUM batteries deliver more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries on the market. ONE-KEY enabled, this is the industry's first impact driver that wirelessly connects to a smart phone to provide unlimited customization and control of the tool's performance. The ONE-KEY application features predetermined set-ups for specific fasteners and materials, or provides complete control over output speed and power to customize the tool for the specific application at hand. Once the desired output performance is reached, the custom profile is then saved to the memory of the tool and the connection to the smart phone is no longer necessary. The tool's memory supports up to 4 custom profiles that can be easily accessed with the touch of a button on the tool.

        Answer This Question

I agree with you I also ordered the same kit because of the picture I talked to Home Depot manager they were able to swap out the Chargers and give me the rapid charger due to the picture mishap they definitely need to fix that very misleading

            Answer This Question

This tool-only version of this impact driver will require both a battery and a charger. You can purchase a kit version of this tool, which would include both, on the site here - search for model 2757-22. Or, you could purchase an M18 starter kit, which consists of one M18 battery and a charger. M18 batteries and chargers are also sold individually on the site here.

Search for M18 battery on the site and pick one you like

            Powerhouse Tool
This year I have been making a transition to Milwaukee tools. It’s been quite the adventure. My first experience with M18 tools was several years ago when I was using a friends Hackzall. I dropped in into a muddy culvert and pulled it and it continued to operate flawlessly. I have been using them ever since. The 1/4” impact has been a dream to use. Smooth and powerful

              Worth it!
Wanted to get a back up for my original Milwaukee impact at work I actually use both just as much. I love the multiple settings and the One Key feature.

                Awesome Stuff!
Use my M12 stuff most of the time and batteries last a long time. I really Like how light they are compared to bigger drills. Now M18 drills have a lot of power and the fuel series hasn’t let me down. Ready for the wet vacs to come out!

I love the drill itself , the batteries r trash
The drill is a beast BUT you need ti upgrade your batteries within 6 months . I used it only at home and sparingly at that and the batteries just died , the XC and 2.0 are not up to par . Get a 4.0 and you are good to go ! I have nothing but Milwaukee tools that my job supplies at work and they outlast any other batt tools . The closest competition was Hilti . I came into the shop and it was nothing but makita which burnt out often . I recommended Milwaukee and for the last 12 years we have we have been nothing but red and white

Yes, I would buy this product again and again
I have used this impact everyday for the last 21/2 years on primary voltage. I’m a lineman in Raleigh NC. And this is by far one of the best impacts on the market.

One Key Looks to be Garbage
Got this impact in a One-key drill /impact / sawzall kit with the pack-out box. I set up one key when I first got it then put the impact in the toolbox to keep as a backup for my existing M18 Surge Impact (which I use daily and love). About 5 months later I went to use this impact on a project so I wouldn't have to keep switching bits in my surge... This impact doesn't work now. As soon as I put a battery on (any battery, I tried 6 different M18 batteries) a different combination of lights stay on continuously on the impact level selector and will not allow me to change levels; sometimes even the light above the trigger won't shut off! Pulling the trigger results in SUPER slow bit rotation with almost no torque. Must be some circuit board failure... Comforting since I literally have never used this tool. If I quickly remove and reinstall a battery, usually 2 of the level lights come on at the same time and sometimes all 4 and rarely only one lights! I also Can't connect to One-key either. I own 20 different M18 tools (4 of those are one-key) along with 14 different M12 tools and this is the second M18 Fuel One-key that has basically completely failed with pretty much no use and the other M18 Fuel OneKey (my drill) has ongoing intermittent issues. Starting to question my abondoning team yellow in favor of what seemed to be a superior tool company because I never had a yellow tool fail that wasn't ridden hard and put away wet... Yet here I am with 10% of my M18 Fuel tools that have failed or have issues with basically zero use... Not a good sign. I will say that the ones I use every day have been MOSTLY flawless. The exception is my M18 Fuel drill (also one-key) which has a funky trigger issue where sometimes it doesn't work and you have to fully release it then re-pull the trigger and it will work fine for most of the day after that but I am getting concerned about reliability of all the One Key tools as the drill has done this trigger game from day one and it does seem to be a little worse now. Going to take this impact and my drill in for warranty service and see how they are afterwards but for now I am going to seriously question any more M18 Fuel purchases (definitely no more one-key stuff) and can't justify my usual impulse buys anymore if I can't have faith that the tools will work when I grab them out of the tool box... 10% is just too high of a failure rate even for heavily used tools... It is a RIDICULOUS failure rate for backup tools that are rarely used! I REALLY want to love all the Milwaukee tools but I will need my shaken confidence restored before I spend any more hard earned bucks on the Fuel stuff... At least the One-Key stuff anyway since ALL 3 of the tools I am having or have had an issue with are One-Key tools!!! Hopefully my high dollar OneKey site light works when I need it because that light can make or break a job when I fall behind and need to work late. May need to find a non-one-key version just to keep as a backup. Bottom line... BOOOOO for One-Key... Change my mind Milwaukee! So far your "innovation" with One key has let me down big time.

Compact, Versatile, Power.... and I even like the color
I am a huge Milwaukee fan. I mainly focus on Maintenance and Repair work with only a small percentage of my work in new installation. Because of this I was able to back away from the old heavy 18 volt bricks that I used to buy from DeWalt. The 12 Volt Milwaukee line became my mainstay. Because of the shear volume of tools I accumulated I never ran out of power because I have a ton of batteries. This unit was my first return to 18 volt. The tech has made them half of the weight of the units from 8 to 10 years ago. The new Red Lithium Batteries seem to last forever!!! The rapid charger was doubly nice for me because it serves both 12 volt and 18 volt batteries. The settings though are what sell this unit. I can drive a 3 inch meat eater through an air conditioner panel into the frame like it was nothing, or I can feather in a old drywall screw without fear of ripping off the head. The customization is empowering and truly allows for task specific torque and speed settings.... And the details... Milwaukee will give you power level status lights, You don't have to modify your tool with clips, or magnetic bit holders... They are already integrated onto the unit. The work light is strong and you can customize the lumen level and duration the light remains on for to your own taste. There is even a lanyard connection for a dummy cord for serious ladder or suspension work. The App is easy and being in a high crime area...I love the tool inventory feature. I will always have my info on hand for a police report or insurance claim.... The price can be intimidating but in this case its not JUST A NAME its PERFORMANCE.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                        Awesome Power
The power of this impact driver, for its size and weight, is phenomenal. This particular model offers an upgrade in torque of +200 in/lbs from the first-generation M18 Fuel impact that I had been using professionally since it came out - and has been an excellent tool for me - plus all of the added features of the One-Key system. In addition to the inventory management and performance tracking features, you are able to create custom profiles for each of the 4 presets, giving you the ability to tailor settings to specific tasks, such as driving self-tapping screws. I've been using this impact daily for not only driving drywall screws and other fasteners of up to 6" in length, but also boring framing members with self-feeding spade bits of diameters up to 1-1/4". It has performed all tasks asked of it without issue, and with ease. Very powerful, and truly a durable, contractor-grade tool, as are all of the tools in both the M12 and M18 Milwaukee line-up.

                        Very handy
I love this impact driver because it is very modern. Through WiFi I'm able to register my tool, track it and most importantly customize it. It's very light weight to handle and to hang on your belt. Its very small in size but huge in torque and speed. With the different speed & torque settings I can use it on any job. I mainly use this driver to screw down cement boards and it does it with ease.
