M18 FUEL ONE-KEY 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver Kit w/(2) 5.0Ah Batteries & Hard Case

Love the tool only complaint is how hard it is to sync

I am a huge Milwaukee fan. I mainly focus on Maintenance and Repair work with only a small percentage of my work in new installation. Because of this I was able to back away from the old heavy 18 volt bricks that I used to buy from DeWalt. The 12 Volt Milwaukee line became my mainstay. Because of the shear volume of tools I accumulated I never ran out of power because I have a ton of batteries. This unit was my first return to 18 volt. The tech has made them half of the weight of the units from 8 to 10 years ago. The new Red Lithium Batteries seem to last forever!!! The rapid charger was doubly nice for me because it serves both 12 volt and 18 volt batteries. The settings though are what sell this unit. I can drive a 3 inch meat eater through an air conditioner panel into the frame like it was nothing, or I can feather in a old drywall screw without fear of ripping off the head. The customization is empowering and truly allows for task specific torque and speed settings.... And the details... Milwaukee will give you power level status lights, You don't have to modify your tool with clips, or magnetic bit holders... They are already integrated onto the unit. The work light is strong and you can customize the lumen level and duration the light remains on for to your own taste. There is even a lanyard connection for a dummy cord for serious ladder or suspension work. The App is easy and being in a high crime area...I love the tool inventory feature. I will always have my info on hand for a police report or insurance claim.... The price can be intimidating but in this case its not JUST A NAME its PERFORMANCE.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The power of this impact driver, for its size and weight, is phenomenal. This particular model offers an upgrade in torque of +200 in/lbs from the first-generation M18 Fuel impact that I had been using professionally since it came out - and has been an excellent tool for me - plus all of the added features of the One-Key system. In addition to the inventory management and performance tracking features, you are able to create custom profiles for each of the 4 presets, giving you the ability to tailor settings to specific tasks, such as driving self-tapping screws. I've been using this impact daily for not only driving drywall screws and other fasteners of up to 6" in length, but also boring framing members with self-feeding spade bits of diameters up to 1-1/4". It has performed all tasks asked of it without issue, and with ease. Very powerful, and truly a durable, contractor-grade tool, as are all of the tools in both the M12 and M18 Milwaukee line-up.

I love this impact driver because it is very modern. Through WiFi I'm able to register my tool, track it and most importantly customize it. It's very light weight to handle and to hang on your belt. Its very small in size but huge in torque and speed. With the different speed & torque settings I can use it on any job. I mainly use this driver to screw down cement boards and it does it with ease.

Incredible tool! This thing is very powerful & the batteries last forever! The whole thing comes in a nice solid case with a charger, 2 massive batteries, & the driver itself. The charger charges both M18 batteries & also M12 batteries. The manual states that it can charge off generators greater than 300 watts. It also states that it takes between 30-75 minutes to fully charge a dead battery, depending on which battery pack is being charged. These M18 REDLITHIUM XC 5.0 are pretty large so they would probably be on the higher end of that time frame. The battery has indicator lights on the front to show approximately how much juice is left. 1 light = less than 32%, 4 lights = 78-100%. You get the idea, more lights equals more life. The tool has a belt clip, bit holder, LED light, & a mode selector button. the mode selector button goes from 1-4, 1 being less power, 4 being INSANE power. There is also a WiFi option available, more on that in a minute. People want an impact driver for power & this has it! A ton of it! This ONE-KEY feature allows someone to choose the settings of the tool from afar & can also help locate a tool for you via smartphone & what have you. I am not in construction but that controlling the settings part is a bit too tyrannical for me. Clearly this feature is useful to someone in the trades, just not for me as a homeowner. Overall, Awesome tool!

I use my cordless tools every week, so durability, quality and battery life are very important. I've owned all the major brands and they are all very good, but there is one that stands above the rest and that's Milwaukee. This Milwaukee Impact Driver is excellent. Don't let the size fool you. It packs lots of power and the brushless motor not only provides a lot of torque and uses less battery power, but it also runs so smoothly. The tool is well balanced and feels good in my hand. It has a white LED light, is reversible, has a sturdy belt clip, a bit holder, a knurled toolless chuck and has a neat four speed electronic setting 850, 1500, 2100 and 3000 rpm. It also has a smart phone ap where the speed can be adjusted by a smart phone. Note that this impact driver will hold 1/4" hex shaft bits. The battery charger does a great job charging the battery - very fast and it will also charge M12 batteries. The kit comes with two XC5.0 batteries - 5 A-Hr batteries! The batteries have a (fuel) gauge to let you know how much charge is left. The bottom of the battery has a nice rubber cover so the tool doesn't move around. Everything comes in a blow molded carrying case with metal latches. The charger, battery and tool fit perfectly in the case. The top half is molded in the Milwaukee Red color and the bottom half is black.

This is a fantastic tool. My 4th impact driver and first Milwaukee. The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless 1/4 in. Cordless Hex Impact Driver Kit with ONE-KEY is the complete kit minus any bits you may require. Nothing was missing when I opened the very heavy duty case. The driver, batteries and charger fit precisely in the case which makes using the tool easier. This tool has some features I have not seen on the market so far. The Speed of the impact driver itself is preset with a choice of 5. The speed can be changed by pushing a button at the top of the base. Another feature is the battery has an led display that when a second button is pushed, will indicate battery charge life available. Nice and convenient if your going to be away from the charger source. Inserting a bit into the 1/4 inch drive can be done with one hand. The tool with a battery is extremely comfortable and balanced. I found the description and information from the Home Depot web site accurate and informative. I'm not impressed with the WiFi feature as I have no use for it personally, but who knows.

Awesome idea, but.....some days it has a high pitched noise, and a trigger light that will not stop...whether I am using it or not. Those days typically it will not allow me to change the speed either. :( Luckily I have other impacts that I can rely on...this just does not happen to be one of them. I have a ton of other milwaukee tools that never let me down, this does not happen to be one of them.
