Will this fit a Samsung 27 in microwave?

Hello! This trim kit cannot be used with other brands. Microwave trim kits are designed to provide a built-in look while also providing air flow necessary to the microwave. A trim kit consists of the trim frame, as well as ducts that encase and attach to the microwave inside the cabinet cut-out. It is important to only use the trim kit designed for that model. Hi Kevin- This is Sue at GE Appliances. We suggest our GE PROFILE™ SERIES 1.5 CU. FT. COUNTERTOP CONVECTION/MICROWAVE OVEN PEB9159SJSS and MICROWAVE OPTIONAL 30" BUILT-IN TRIM KIT JX9153SJSS or MICROWAVE OPTIONAL 27" BUILT-IN TRIM KIT JX9152SJSS. The only difference between the 27" and 30" trim kit is the trim frame. If the microwave is installed over a 27" or 30" wall oven, be sure to match the trim kit width to the oven. The approximate cutout dimensions are 17 1/16"H x 23 1/8"W x 16-18"D (depending on receptacle location). You need to be careful when ordering this item .The item is well made and comes with everything that you need to install BUT be aware that it only covers a small area of the cabinet . Mine did not fit the existing cut out in my cabinet and had to be returned . Another note Home Depot considers this item a major appliance and must be returned in 48 hours of delivery . ( Stupidest thing I have ever heard of " Major Appliance "). This has been the most difficult item that I have bought to return .

Terrible design and terrible fit. Lots of gaps around the microwave which looks terrible. Prior trim kit on my GE microwave was a much better design and looked better. Color was not white as well. Be warned. I was told there is/was a manufacturing problem making these trim kits.
