How do I use depth stop on this model? I can't figure out how to measure.
I'm trying to use my existing miter saw table. If I take off the little extensions on this saw. Is it really 22.5" wide? nobody has one in stock so I can't just go and measure it.

What is the tooth count on the blade that comes with the saw?
Owners manual says 40. It was adequate but I replaced it with a higher tooth count blade.
What is maximum cutting capacity height
The specs say 4" max. I've cut 4x4s (3.5") with ease.

Why is it on sale if you can't find it in any store
So they don't lose any money like most companies do is put it on sale when they only have a couple or none left i noticed that on a few items. And of course no rain checks.
I just purchased one and in order to do a bevel cut at 45 I need to remove completely the fence If I try a bevel at 45 and miter at 45 even with no fence it doesn’t pass
On the back side of the fence, there's a wing nut. Loosen the wing nut and slide the fencing out, away from the blade. Test your cut path, re-tighten once you have clearance. I ran into the same issue when I purchased it. Hopefully this helps.
Why is the 10" miter more expensive then the 12" miter? Both are corded and have all the same features
Because they are not available. It helps them sell the 12” version like it’s a deal. I called ridgid directly and they said they don’t even make them because Home Depot doesn’t want them for some reason
The Delta "10. in Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Cruzer Miter Saw" is virtually identical to this Ridgid. My guess is that HD wants to sell the Delta to compete with Lowes and that is why the Ridgid model is always out of stock/not being made.
