What does "universal handle" mean? Can the ratcheting handle accept ANY 1/4" hex bit?
Thank you for this question. The “universal handle” wording is actually inaccurate, and we’re working with Home Depot support on getting this title updated. The 32500HDRT ratcheting handle is not universal, it’s designed to work with standard 1/4" hex bits, but not every bit on the market will necessarily fit or function properly. It is compatible with most standard 1/4" hex bits that meet typical dimensional specs, but we can’t guarantee compatibility with all brands or specialty bits.
Are there compatible double ended tamper bits that could replace some of the standard bits and where could I find them.
Klein Tools 32500HDRT, KNECT™ 11-in-1 Ratcheting Impact Rated Screwdriver / Nut Driver does not have double-ended tamper-proof bit replacements available. We recommend Klein Tools Cat. What do the little sumbols mean on the rubber grip handle?
There are indicators on the collar for forward, fixed, and reverse ratchet positions. The symbols on the bottom of the handle identify the type of screwdriver.
Just purchased, but it’s EXTREMELY difficult to pull shaft from handle on my screwdriver. All individual components separate easily, but pulling the shaft from handle requires Vise Grips! Still a difficult pull! Anyone else experience this? Defective?
Yes, I have the same issue. Doesn't require vise grips, but very hard to pull it out.
Same here…I actually said to my son: “How can they expect you to use a tool, to use a tool?!!!?!!!!”. …..ANNNND there is no “star” bit (T25). ABSOLUTE FRAUD. - This piece of crap is going back!
