Where has this been all my life !!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about a week ago. I’m in love ! Already got a chance to use them on a old breaking box . Where we had trouble putting in a breaker !! I was a little skeptical about useing this on live wire but it worked, no shock. I see my self using this for more then electrical work because it’s just too smooth to use ! :):)

As my tool collection continues to grow, having tools that take up less space are becoming more important. The Klein Tools 8-in-1 insulated interchangeable screwdriver set helps me to accomplish that.
This set is rated up to 1000 volts and includes eight different tips, covering all of my potential needs. Swapping out the blades is quit and simple, with or without gloves. Having the tip the same diameter as the shaft is something I didn’t realized I was missing until I used it. There have been a number of times I was forced to use an uninsulated screwdriver thanks to a deep-set screw in a contactor that my old screwdrivers couldn’t reach. This set eliminates that problem.
I like the roll-up pouch. It makes it easy to find in my tool bag and ensures that when I arrive at a job I will have the required tip. No more trekking back and forth for missing tools.
As with all Klein products they feel well made and I anticipate a lifetime of use with proper care.

Very durable and well manufactured driver set. The main benefit is hopefully one that you'll never have to experience it failing: the insulation against electrical conduction. The insulation is both in the bright orange coating and within the handle itself. The bit tips are strong and haven't flaked or chipped so far. The locking mechanism allows a quick release with a twist of the collar but also holds the bits firmly even when pulled against. The set also comes with a basic pouch that's padded and has flaps to cover the sharp bit tips and keep them from falling out.

I was needing a assorted set of drivers for the work I do with AC/DC inverters and speed drives. If I can avoid it, I never work on anything energized but with electronics there is always an issue with stored energy of the equipment. This Klein set has more than enough insulation to protect me accidental contact with an energized circuit.
The assortment of drivers works with just about every kind phillips, slotted, and square head fasteners I come across. The double end blades are ideal for jobs with both slotted and phillips head fasteners. Just one driver in my hand and just quick flip to change.
The double end shafts run about 3-1/2 inches from tip to shaft end in the handle and the single tip drivers run about 6 inches.
I really appreciate the soft spring loaded handle for the quick driver change; just a twist of the collar past the handle grip and the shaft ejects from the handle. It just simply pops the shaft up from the locking mechanism in the handle. And the handle is the Klein trademark of comfortable but rugged rubberized for good grip at any position in my hand.
The included storage pouch is a nice bonus. I can purposefully keep my insulated set separate from my standard drivers.

The Klein Tools 8-in-1 Insulated Interchangeable Screwdriver Set is a great value in electrical performance tools! Much more compact and 75% cheaper than my professional insulated 1000V screwdrivers, Klein features just the tips I need to perform hot electrical work safely. I still kill power to circuits and test for non energized wiring and components, but when I have to work HOT, these tools (and a good pair of el. gloves) gives me the protection I need!!
Well designed, well built, great features and a solid reputation, this all-in-one service kit will stay in my work bag ready for the next task (electrical or not)!

This is a really cool screwdriver set. It contains a variety of sizes of straight and phillips bits that can be swapped out in seconds. When a bit is inserted, it locks into place very securely, and is released quickly and easily with a simple twist of the handle. The handle and bits are all contained in a convenient storage pouch, so it takes up much less space than a comparable set of individual screwdrivers would.

The pouch contains one handle, two long handle bits for #2 Phillips and 1/4" slotted, and three inserts with a bit on each end. It addition to the two sizes noted, it has a #1 Phillips, 3/16 slotted, and #1 and #2 square bits. Having 8 bits with one handle means many fewer tools to carry and a greater likelihood of having the type of screwdriver that you need. The interchangeable drivers are great quality and easy to swap out. I was somewhat skeptical of the practicality of changing out driver bits, but it is made simple and secure with this screwdriver. There is a collar requiring about 1/8 turn to release the bit, so tips don't accidentally drop out, and fully inserted bits automatically lock into place. The insulation provides some protection against accidental contact with live connections and the bright orange coloring makes them easy to find, even if dropped in insulation or piles of dirt. Quality of the handle seems great with no concern of breaking it even with typical abuse (we all know flat bladed screwdrivers end up being used as a chisel from time to time).
