          They only lasted a year.
I bought these last summer, and now they are flickering and when you tuen off the lights, they don’t go out all the way… it’s like they are on super dim or something. It’s actually kinda scary. This is unbelievable, unacceptable and just terrible. The 2 in my bedroom were flashing so bad off and on, i HAD to take them out because i was about to have a seizure, and I’m not even epileptic. Thumbs down Oh yeah, the worst part is: they are all going out at the same time! I mean within a few weeks

            Short lifespan
I have never been able to get anywhere close to the life expectancy they are rated for. Averages around six months in a kitchen fixture that is on several hours a day. I just replaced one that I installed on 10/10/23. I started writing the date on the bulbs because they were not lasting.

              Bad quality
This example of the bulb was in an indoor hallway, with no moisture anywhere nearby. It lasted about 15 months.

Not a bad one in the bunch
I really use to hate incandescent bulbs ,there was always one or 2 in the box that didn't work. Not with the LEDs it seems . These bulbs are the standard plastic encased jobs that work in any standard table lamp. It fits a clamp on shade just fine. I like the daylight bulb as my eyesight needs a better illumination for reading and the like. I have one in the desk lamp as well on my work bench , makes it easy to read a measuring tape. These are non dimmable and unsuitable for wet locations so but OK for damp locations so ok in the bathroom or the eave outside but not the shower light or an exposed wall light outside. They have a very low start temperature of -4 degrees so they should work in a garage fixture I'm not in a position to verify this so I will find out this winter.

                Bright and save energy
I’ve changed all the light bulbs in my home to energy saving and cooler LED bulbs. In addition to being long lasting these bulbs give off little or no heat. They give off a great amount of light and provide all the illumination you need. I’ve had incandescent bulbs in fixtures that would only last a few months. Once those old bulbs were replaced with LED bulbs the newer bulbs seem to last forever. So they give off little or low heat and save energy and last a very long time. These are not dimmable which is just fine in laundry rooms and closets where you need a lot of light.

                Excellent
I always like to have a set of extra lightbulbs in my home just in case. The EcoSmart ones are perfect, comes in a pack of 8 and standard sizes. They are LED so takes up less electricity and lasts a long time. The only thing to be aware of is that they are non-dimmable. This isnt particularly an issue for me since I use them for my lamps and island lights. Also, I don't like to dim lightbulbs because it has a buzzing sound that bothers me. The brand comes with different temperature options so make sure you get the correct one you need. The 5000K is a bright white that is good for focusing. The details are on the lightbulbs themselves to prevent confusion

SAVE your receipt, you will need it!
Purchased 8 of these bulbs when we moved into a new house. I'm pretty disappointed that they cost so much but didn't even last as long as an incandescent bulb. They were in bedrooms and MINIMALLY used. Sadly, I can't find (or didn't save) the receipt so now I'm stuck finding and buying a better product. Save yourself some time and effort, buy something else.

                  Value pack!
This value pack 40 Watt LED lights is a good buy if you use LEDs. The 40 watt type are perfect for my vintage lights because they don't get hot and still put out quite a bit of light. 470 lumens and "daylight" so the light is not overly yellow like some LEDs. These fit a regular light socket. LEDs last a very long time so this eight pack should last a good long time.
