This wall plate is exactly what I was looking for. Its trendy sleek ebony and high end looking. I have a black and red theme in my kitchen and I just bought the black cabinet knobs last week which were a sleek ebony ultra modern design so I was thrilled to come across this "matching" black wall plate. I installed it right after I took the picture and it really pulled my room together nicely. The color shown is true to life.

This is a well made metal wall plate with an attractive border that looks good on my master bath wall. It makes it easy to see and turn on/off without searching for it in the very early mornings when it is low light. It fits slightly larger than the prior plastic light switch cover so it does a good job of hiding paint borders. The screws are color coded so it has a nice finished look. And it is easy to keep clean, unlike plastic. Installs quickly with just a screw driver and should last a life time.
