I would have given this five stars like the other oak switch plates that I bought, but the holes ...
I would have given this five stars like the other oak switch plates that I bought, but the holes didn't line up and I had to drill it out slightly closer to the receptacle, in order for both screws to be installed. Other that that it looks great.

Brings style with enhancing an older home.
For a few bucks extra, use this to "pop" any light colored wall. Using this product , be sure you have 400 grit sandpaper to sand everything down for a good stain —and I use a satin spray varnish to give it a nice touch. You can’t miss with this one!

Clearance issues
These are beautiful wood, but they are a little larger than standard switch/plug plates, So measure to make sure your clearance is good… (We put up a copper backsplash with a little frame around it, and Are going to have to trim these or get another style for that spot…) These are 5.25, some other wood styles available from this manufacturer (rosewood, mahogany) are 5 inches high, standard plastic plug plates are 4 7/8. Other than that, we've got them all over the house now, and they look just great!

I am so glad I found these on line! I searched all local stores & none had just the plain wooden plates that I could stain or paint. These were very important to me because I didn’t want my house to look basic like many do. These made my house look more custom & unique.
