The specs indicate the height of the wall plate is 7.5inches. However; it is actually only the standard 5 inches. That inch and a half makes a huge difference when you’re buying it for an oversized cutout. It’s worthless to me now.

This texture stone look wall plate is substantial. It's not your basic builder thin plastic plate. The thickness of the plate is about 1/4 inch, the resin stone look is supported with a piece of metal in the back. I replace my plastic white wall plate with this and the outlet has a more firm feel. This stone look goes well inside the garage and other areas of the house.

This wall plate was easy to install, it comes with two screws that matched the color of the wall plate. Also the plate has a textured stone finish that looks real. I have a brown fan in the room and it goes well with the wall plate. It is certainly fun and we like how it looks. The plate also fits just right; it has a metal plate in the back so it is sturdy to stay in place. This minimal change makes the room more attractive, like the way it looks every time.

The stone wall plate is very nice. It is much thicker than the ordinary thin plastic ones. I held it up to a brick wall over where the plastic kind has been installed and it looked extraordinarily nice, as if it belonged there. Alas, the brick wall was not mine, so I took my beautiful stone wall plate and installed it on one of the walls in my bedroom. I hope the picture I have furnished depicts its true elegance.

This is a really nice wall plate with lots of attention to detail. The plastic it is made from is quite a bit thicker that what you usually see in a outlet cover, and in addition to that it has a metal plate glued to the back of the plastic to give it more durability, stiffness and strength. When the screws are tightened it doesn't want to warp and break. The pattern on the face of the wall plate is actual texture and not just paint or coloring, it feels and looks very nice. It comes with a colored screw to blend in with the cover. The wall plate is about 4 1/2" wide, by 5" tall by 5/16" thick. All in all a really nice cover that looks good and should hold up well.

If you’re looking for something to match a tumbled stone finish, this will work. The dimensions are pretty much standard, 3 1/8 inches wide by four and three-quarter inches high. It is not made of stone or ceramic but is a composite material. The back has a metal plate that adds to the stability of the switch plate. This will help prevent any type of cracking when installing the screws. It is also a little thicker than your normal plastic type of switch plates but still allows the light switch to extend normally.
The texture on the front does resemble that of stone and the color is a nice medium brown. The mounting screws have also been painted a color similar to the switch plate.
I think this place would add a nice touch to any room for anyone looking for a tumbled stone type of finish.

The sizes are as described. Unusual color/pattern and will more than likely be favored by someone with a different taste, like this textured stone finish for example. I am impressed with the way it has been constructed using poly-resin, rather than the usual plastic and the way the screw holes match up perfectly in this wall switch plate with the one gang switch itself. I changed the old plastic plate for this one in the bathroom. The wife loves it and who am I to disagree. When she asked me if I loved it too. My answer? Yes dear.

Just received this Amerelle Texture Stone 2-Duplex Wall Plate, and it is really nice. It
is heavy duty and a beautiful faux stone finish. It is sure to compliment any decor. This
is a elegant looking wall plate. It has an expensive look, but it is quite affordable.
This wall plate can be used in the room of your choice. It's very stylish and is sure to add
that decorative accent. The hardware (2 screws) are included. The product depth is
5.875” height is 7.5” and width is 0.25.” I chose the almond color and it is so nice. I
like the neutral color because it blends with any decor. The number of gangs is two.
I took a couple of close-up pictures so you could see the design better..
Even though it says it's made of plastic, it is quite heavy. I would recommend this
Texture Stone 2-Duplex Wall Plate by Amerelle to everyone. It's a great looking
product and a great price.
