Scratches
If you have fingernails and miss the switch, you make a scratch. That shouldn’t happen as this price point when you can buy plates from $2 up. It looks nice but wouldn’t recommend in a high traffic, heavy switching room. Ours is in a bathroom.

Metal wall plate feels good on the hands and feels...
Metal wall plate feels good on the hands and feels like it's truly durable, only down side my wife and I dont like is how easily it can be marked from a scratch.

Peels after 2 years
After 2 years on my home office wall switch, the plate started peeling severely (see attached photo). I just purchased the same cover as a replacement and can see about 4 spots where the pain is either nicked or not finished properly - and will most likely eventually peel (2 photos attached). Will be returning.

Paint wears easily
The plates are very nice looking and sturdy. However, the paint on the screws chipped off before even tightening them. For the price, I would expect better.
