Q:What is the faucet size, "5/8" or "3/4"?

A:  That`s a good question! You`ve purchased a hose with a length of 125 feet and is capable of watering a 250 foot wide circle, You have a free standing hose stand that will allow you to coil away the entire length of hose fast and easily, You are going to need a lot of water moving fast to charge up the hose`s pressure. Without resistance, the water would be only as fast as the faucet permits. The 5/8" faucet size opened full wide offers just the right amount of resistance to the water to more rapidly fill the length of hose and have force left to spray another 20 feet. This means your watering circle is increased by another 40 feet, to nearly 300 feet. If you want to water farther and faster, you will probably need a portable pump and water reservoir like the fire department uses for fire emergencies.

    A:  I’ll save you the money don’t buy it. It’s not very durable. Base broke on me with a 50 ft hose nothing else on it.

        A:  The short answer is Yes. Not different from leaving either the wall or the AquaJoe faucet open and trusting the nozzle at the end of the hose to keep water from flowing. Either hose could potentially split or fail. I leave my wall faucet open and close the faucet on the AquaJoe. I have had no issues so far. If the weather turns cold enough for a potential freeze, I would close the wall faucet and drain all the hoses.

          A:  Whereas your statement is true there is an alternative and a certain amount of trust in a different solution. I believe you were assuming that the hose between the house and the new Aqua Joe stand would be a standard hose. I would not trust a standard inexpensive rubber hose to not burst in the summer heat. As the water in the hose is heated through standard summer heat and sunlight it would expand the hose and deteriorated. For that reason I chose a different solution. Between the house spigot and the back of the aqua Joe spigot I put a no burst hose. What I used was a washing machine stainless steel braided hose. I then used a male male nipple on the back of the aqua Joe to connect the no burst hose. In this way I leave it on all summer long and have no fear of the hose breaking.

          Great addition to the garden!
          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was happy to get the chance to try out the AQUA JOE Steel Garden Hose Holder with Faucet. Our faucet for the front garden is behind a prickly holly hedge & difficult to get to. My husband has set this up in front & to the side of the hedge & now it is easy to water my plants by attaching the hose to the faucet on the stand! It is sturdy & heavy duty & very easy to instal!

            Well crafted, doesn’t leak!
            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a hose from Aqua Joe, and I am quite pleased with it, so I was happy to put the Garden Hose Stand W/ Brass Faucet to the test. And so far, I am delighted. The stand came in great condition, well packaged and safely sent. There were no dents or dings, and putting it together was a breeze. There are only three parts, the two parts of the stand itself, which telescopes together, snapping into one another with a depressed bulb, and the half circle hose holder, than slots into the pole, with a bolt securing them together. It was assembled and ready to be installed in less than 5 minutes. This isn’t my first hose holder with a faucet, and I’ve been very disappointed in the past. But not so with Aqua Joe…the faucet fittings on this are heavy duty and perfectly machined. Brass and heavy, my hoses attached to both sides easily, and didn’t leak even though I only hand tightened them. I was absolutely blown away at how well the fittings were made, and how reliably the faucet functioned. I couldn’t be happier, seriously. The stake is thick, and the pedal you push it down with is ample and strong, and I could drive the spike very deep and securely. I only have a 50 foot hose on the holder - the Aqua Joe says it can hold one up to a 125ft…and I believe it - and it holds mine easily and without tipping or tilting. With a clean, modular look, the holder is demure and unobtrusive, and I am very pleased with it. I heartily recommend this product…and if you’re like me and have had bad versions of this from other brands, don’t be discouraged, the Aqua Joe is well made, heavy duty, and doesn’t leak. It is an awesome product!

                Easy to setup and use!
                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: easy to setup, fast to setup, works well, looks nice, functional Cons: none The Aquajoe Steel Garden Hose Holder with Faucet is really nice! This garden hose holder is easy to setup, easy to use, and it works really well. This garden hose holder comes in 3 pieces and it’s extremely fast and easy to put together. All you have to do is connect the bottom post with the top post by using the push button, and then connect the hose holder to the post with a screw and s-nut. It’s easy to line up and add the screw into the hose holder and then hand tighten with the s-nut. The whole process only took about 2 minutes. Then all you have to do is go anchor it in the ground by stepping on the base and pushing the stakes into the ground. Then you can set up the faucet and hose. Everything on it works extremely well and it’s easy to wrap a hose around. The faucet works great as well. I also really like how nice this hose holder looks. I like the grey color and overall design. It’s super useful and functional. All in all, this is a really nice hose holder and faucet. It’s very fast and easy to setup, it’s easy to use, and it works really well! I would absolutely recommend it!

Instructions are very clear and it was installed in no time. I like that it can hold hoses up to 125 ft which is a great feature.                     Handy and strong!
                    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aqua Joe garden hose stand is perfect for town-home life! My garden hose was just lying on the ground behind a bush and now it looks so nice hanging from the stand. Because of condo bylaws, I cannot attach anything to the building so this hose holder was a perfect solution. It was easily pounded into the gravely soil we have. It holds firmly because the ground prongs are long enough! And it has a spigot, so that now I have easy access to a spigot! It is a well-made, sturdy hose holder with a quality brass spigot that will last. Glad I have it!

                      Nice Hose Stand
                      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My garden hose is finally not laying on the ground in a pile! The hose stand packed well with a lot of protection. It came in a couple pieces and is very easy to install. The hose stand has a connection point so you can attached an additional hose, or use it as a faucet. I've been primarily using it to hold my hose so it's not laying down anymore. Sometimes it's the small things like a hose stand that makes my yard look a lot more put together. I'd recommend this one.
