Wow, what a nozzle!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High quality hose nozzle with 7 different spray patterns. It actually has a thumb controller for the amount of water flow so you don't have to squeeze a lever. And if an intruder should come into your yard, this nozzle has enough heft to use it to defend yourself!

Great feature Smart Throttle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Snow Joe Aqua Joe AJHN102 is a heavy duty metal functional adjustable hose nozzle with a smart throttle. The nozzle is heavy compared to other nozzles. It has seven selectable sprays available, jet, shower, mist, soaker, cone, center, and flat. The smart throttle on the handle provides an additional two selections intense and soft spray. The smart throttle is a great feature. The nozzle works perfectly with the Snow Joe hose. I would recommend this product to friends.

2 months before it started leaking
i would expect from a cheap sprayer but not an "indestructible" expensive one. No damage just water leaking from rim.

Well designed.
I really like this nozzle! Got it on sale (which makes me like it even more). It is solid and due to thicker handle feels very nice when in use. The dial is easy to turn and all setting do what they are supposed to do.
I was not sure if I would like the top lever as oppose to the conventional one. Well, it is comfortable and easy to use, so I do like it a lot. Did not need an extra washer or anything, even though I put it on a different brand hose. Just took out of the package and was good to go (always a plus). I hope it will be durable because I do use our hoses a lot. As a matter of fact, if it holds up well, I might purchase another one for the second watering station.
To sum it all up, well designed and well made nozzle (and I've used dozens of different ones at this point).

Broke after less than one year
Some kind of seal failure. Water gushes out of half the nozzle no matter what setting you use. Not indestructible to say the least.

Don't buy unless you like wasting money.
I purchased this item because I believed it was solid. Remember, it's made from metal. As you can see by the picture the plastic end fell out and you can't put it back in. I called Aquajoe to see what they would do. They wanted the serial number from the packaging which I no longer have. The serial number is not on the nozzle like it should be. To save yourself a lot of time and trouble just don't buy this expense nozzle. I paid a lot of money for something that doesn't last.

I bought this nozzle to go with the blue Aqua Joe 100' Polymer hose. What a great nozzle. The variety of sprays is great -- I was able to water a cedar tree from 25' away with the Jet setting, and delicate fuchsias and ferns with the shower setting. I leave the water turned on all the way all the time, even in parched California -- no leaking. Plus the color -- unusual and lovely. I ordered another blue 100' Aqua Joe hose and this nozzle for my front yard.

Works great and appears very well made. The water completely shuts off when you push the throttle all the way down. There is a screen where you attach a hose to prevent clogs inside the nozzle (see photo). I especially like the Shower setting to water plants. I purchased the nozzle when it was featured as a Home Depot Special Buy of the Day.

Perhaps I am rough with my hose nozzles, but I usually get a few years out of them. This one didn't last a few months. It seems like it is made very well of metal with many great features, but one of the most integral pieces on the lever is plastic. I would have given it 4-5 stars otherwise, due to the great features. The lever to adjust water strength was nice. The high pressure worked great and cleaned my siding pretty well and the soaker was great for plants and trees. Too bad, maybe their next iteration will be worth buying and I will go back to my 3 year old nozzle.

I mean... I would not advertise this as "indestructible". Although sturdier and more durable-feel...
I mean... I would not advertise this as "indestructible". Although sturdier and more durable-feeling than most spray nozzles on the market this only held up about 2 months before a plastic piece on the side of the throttle popped off and began spraying water everywhere. I gave an extra star for it making me laugh.
I'll still recommend the product, though, as it is sturdier than most nozzles. I have to be fair and say that my company is hard on spray nozzles. They get high use in our facility. If you're looking for something to water your garden with occasionally or wash the car with then it may just be a lifetime worth of use for you. However, it's by no means indestructible and probably not worth the money if you need a spray nozzle that can stand up to heavy use.
