9 in. 2 Speed Desk Fan for Home or Office in Brown with Pivoting Head, Quiet Operation and Carry Handle

This is a nice household fan. It comes fully assembled which is a nice change from so many products these days. It blows a good amount of air on ether of the two speeds. We use it in the bedroom at night on especially hot nights to blow directly on us to help "beat the heat". The fan housing pivots up and down but not sideways and it has a very stable base so there are no fears of it tipping over. It is lightweight so easy to move from room to room if desired. This is a great fan. Amazing how quite this fan is for as much air as it moves. This fan doesn't take up much space. It is very narrow in it's design and combined with the pivoting feature which make the air flow controllable and really moves the air. The size makes it very flexible where you place the fan. The large dial on the back is easy to move and use. The speeds are clearly marked.

The Air King 9 inch fan useable is the simple control [not controls] but singular control knob. Let us not forget the pivoting fan head from aimed down to straight up to the celling. The control knob turns the fan on or off plus to the right high and low fan speeds. the air flow of the fan is 430-cfm on high and 365-cfm on low speed. But, who can relate to cubic feet a minute. The uses of the Air King fan are why we selected it to move air where we have little or no air movement. The utility room/laundry room is one example of hot and moist air build up needing air movement. [photo 1] Another place that needs air movement is the area under the desk where the pc is sandwiched between the desk and the printer. [photo 2] Lastly in the sunroom where in winter it is cozy warm but in summer time the wall of glass windows and the hot sun shine means hot. Without having a celling fan the use of the Breeze Machine from Air King is need to move the air straight up and around the room. [photo 3]

I've been using the 9 in. 2-Speed Commercial Grade Pivoting Table Fan by Air King for about a week now, and I am impressed by how quiet it is compared to my old fan. And it moves a lot more air than the old fan as well. Not sure what 'commercial grade' means - the whole thing is typical plastic construction. One thing to note is that the plug is three-pronged. That might matter if you plan to use it with a remote control or timer. I really can't get over how quiet this fan is!

Air King Breeze Machine 9 inch Fan produces a nearly silent breeze. The quiet operation is great. I also like that there are two speeds to pick from. The fan will circulate 365 cubic feet per minute on low or 435 on high. The Breeze Machine has a convenient finger grip for lifting and moving the unit when the fan is unplugged. The plug is grounded. There are two knobs on either side of the unit that control the pitch of the fan blade housing. The fan can be adjusted to push air straight across the room, up at the ceiling or any point in between by adjusting the two side knobs . The base is about 5 inches deep and 10 1/4 inches wide across the front. The fan carries the ETL mark. I like the light weight, neutral beige color, small footprint, and near silent operation of this fan.

This small, lightweight fan was the perfect choice to create some air circulation in a workout area we have in our basement. Our basement is generally cool, but there is little to no air movement. The fan is easy to set up- I placed it on a small table so it can be placed in different areas, depending on where one of us is working out. The controls are located in the back, with two speeds. The fan can be easily tilted up by loosening the knobs on the sides of the fan and retightening after you get the correct angle. The best part is- THIS FAN IS QUIET! It doesn’t interfere at all with music, television or streaming fitness classes. We are very pleased with this fan and highly recommend it.

The instruction sheet says the backside close mesh fan guard meets OSHA requirements (but they also say the fan is for residential use only). The instruction sheet contains warning and important safety information that needs to be read before operation. There are also warnings to read on the cord tag. The fan can be adjusted to push air straight across the room, up at the ceiling or any point in between with the two side knobs that control the pitch of the three fan blades. The base is about 5 inches deep and 10 1/4 inches wide across the front, and has surface protecting feet. The fan has the ETL mark, but no indication where it was manufactured. I like the light weight, neutral beige color, small footprint, and near silent operation of this fan.

I love this little guy.the blade is pretty big and wide for such a small fan.i don't know if this design makes this fan whisper quiet or what,but I love the very low noise level on this little guy.if you like a fan that won't keep you awake at night,this is your fan.my wife loves the low level of noise on this little guy.she has a little asthma and needed to replace her old fan(for night use only )and this one fit the bill perfectly. Too bad it only has 2 speeds but does a great job anyway.
