The Advanced Clean AC 1.0 Slow Spalet Electric Bidet Seat For Elongated Toilet in White is another fine quality American Standard product. As I have gotten older, there are certain cleanliness issues I am not willing to compromise. This toilet seat helps maintain my standard. It is a great quality for the price. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, but I don’t need a toilet seat that sings to me. The water tank is large enough to heat sufficiently to get the job done. The spray adjusters are excellent, especially for a multiple hinny household. It was easy to install and I really liked that all plumbing parts are of a good quality and included. I am recommending this to all my friends. It’s a must have!

This seat is designed to fit on most elongated toilets and I had no issues mounting on mine. The bidet seat is entry level with most basic features. It does not have an external remote or a drying feature. Installation was not very difficult and took me around 45 minutes to get it ready. I had to install a GFCI outlet near the toilet seat as the extension cable is not practical and is unsightly too. The outlet installation is an additional cost you should keep in mind and this may be significant $ in depending on where you live. The control panel is very basic and easy to use. The bidet has two spray positions for regular bidet and feminine hygiene. Spray strength and nozzle distance is adjustable depending on personal preference. The seat and water temperature can be adjusted as well, which is a great feeling in the present cold weather. The only thing I did not like about this product was the controller on the side, which is not as convenient as a remote on the wall. I would still recommend this product as other than this drawback, its a great bidet seat.

Advanced Clean AC 1.0 Slow Close SpaLet Electric Bidet Seat for Elongated Toilet in White by American Standard (a subsidiary of Lixil in Japan) Packaging: External – Cardboard box Internal – Double cardboard box container Contents: Toilet seat with bidet components, various fitting, supply hose and instructions First Impressions: Looks interesting but must try to know its value. Description: This is a toilet attachment that replaces the toilet seat and adds the functions of a bidet. It requires an electric receptacle to supply needed power, but taps into the existing toilet's water supply line to receive the necessary clean water flow. It has a built in heater for both the seat and the water. There is a side panel with all the controls. Usage: This unit was installed on the Glacier Bay 2-piece 1.1 GPF/1.6 GPF High Efficiency Dual Flush Complete Elongated Toilet in White, Seat Included , Model# N2316. The instructions are in the form of a manual and have plenty of diagrams and spacing between steps to eliminate confusion. I found them very helpful and an example of what instructions should be. The basic concept here is that one removes the exiting seat/cover after measuring the bowl mounting points to make sure of compatibility. After that, the assembly is fairly straight forward. There was one problem and that was the mounting plate. First of all, if looking carefully at the first pages, there is a picture of the anchors showing the direction they go in to the base. Then the black strips of the mounting base goes downward. Next the plastic holder strip teeth go into the teeth of the mounting base and the screws go into that. Make sure to use some liquid soap to press the anchors down into the toilet bowl mounting holes to make them slide in easily. These were the only missing steps in pictures. The tricky part is adjusting the mounting base forward to where the front of the seat meets the front of the bowl properly. You will be loosening and re-tightening those screws a few times to get it just right. What will throw you off is that the back of the unit is bulky so one might think that getting it as close to the tank is the ideal. However, such is not the case. Which leads me to the next issue. The unit is claimed to be for an elongated bowl, but I found that it takes up way too much of the bowl space toward the back and the benefits of an elongated bowl are lost for the most part. Between the front edge of the back of the unit and the edge of the bowl opening in the back is a wasted overlap of three inches. Worse yet, there were almost two full inches between the back of the unit and the tank, and this is also wasted space. In this, the unit is not up to par. The next step is simply plugging it into the power and trying it out. You will hear some clicking and then the little fan will come on to deodorize the air when first supplying power and water pressure to it. Follow the steps to test the water flow. That part is very easy. The functions only work when someone is sitting on the seat, except for the warming of the seat and water. The seat stays nicely warm and can be appreciated in the winter time. I did not like the seat when used on a chair-height toilet. It is more appropriately designed for a low style bowel. There is no choice on where one can position on the seat. It is shaped in the back to stop a person from sliding rearward. This one issue is why a regular seat will feel much more roomy. In use, the device does what one might expect, but there is no magic bullet here. The controls are hard to use because the touch pad is on the right only and somewhat rearward. It is difficult to see them and to reach them as you might wish. The controls should have rested on an telescoping arm to bring them forward. If you feel as though you want a second cycle, the warm water will run out. The ability of the movement of the nozzle forward and back is useful for preferred positioning, however I found that moving side to side to position the spray in the right location opened up the back for over-spray on the seat and other parts. Joystick positioning would have been better. The massage function seems to have no value. A bidet is not a toilet paper saving device, as one must still dry off and usually use more paper as otherwise. Further, when wiping the an*s (HomeDepot will not allow the whole word here), one may find that once in a while the cleaning was not as deeply done as one would want. You would like the soft closer function for lowering the seat and cover. Very nice. However, when sitting on the cover, the system does not know that the cover is down and subsequently turns on the fan. It is evident that this is the 1.0 version. Overall Thoughts: There is no doubt that the toilet mounted bidet is far better than separate devices. However, this is not the best add-on for that. It is far better to have a toilet with the bidet designed as part of it. And this brings up another issue of what to do with composting toilets; this may not work there because of the added water.

My wife has been wanting to try a bidet toilet for a while, but the full toilet was out of our price range. This is a more affordable way of get many of the same features. It offers a heated seat and heated water. No drying or auto open/close lids. It fits on elongated toilets and provided everything needed to hookup to the existing toilet water line and a nearby outlet (40" or closer). In a week of use, the only missing feature we would want is heated drying. But at this price point, we can't really complain.

Where to start? I have no shame and this bidet is amazing. I’m a clean freak and do not know how I’ve lived without this miraculous wonder for 37 years. It comes with everything you need for the install including a Tee for the water supply and mounting hardware. It comes with two compression rubber inserts. The only way I could get them in was to add soap to them and then slid them in. Most toilet areas do not have an outlet so there are two choices. You can run an extension cord like I did for a week or install an GFCI outlet near the toilet. I eventually installed an outlet and have pictures of both options. You do need 120V power. The water is heated, the seat is heated and there are multiple positions for the spray as well as a massage spray option with is just pulsating. Another great feature is it has a deodorizer which, surprisingly works well! I’ll end it with this, don’t knock it until you try it!

Bring your toilet to the 21st Century! So amazing! It has seat temp, water temp, spray strength, nozzle positioning, etc! I got this model for the toilet I have in my house. The installation of the seat was simple. The only difficulty was that we do not have an electrical outlet nearby. I will be installing a dedicated outlet for this but for now an extension cord plugged into a GFCI is working well. The water connection was easy, too. I turned off the water at the valve and flushed the toilet and let the water run out while holding the handle. I put a towel on the floor and removed the supply line from the tank. I screwed the connector to the tank, aligned the connection and tightened the connector. I then connected the supply line to the connector and connected the supply line to the horizontal connection and turned the water back on. If you are having trouble, it is always best to call a qualified plumber!

Using more than 6 months and love it. It would be great if warm air functionality and night light are there.
