Our home was built in 1978, and the front door switch plate was a heavy and embossed plate, so deeply embossed that it was actually uncomfortable to operate the switches. We needed a replacement, but it had to be elegant - not standard. This plate filled the bill perfectly! It is metal, thick and heavy, yet has the elegance we wanted. It installed easily and even included longer than normal screws, just in case the extra length is needed. It wasn't in our case, but the switches accepted them with no problem.

This is an extremely strong, heavy and durable metal electrical switch plate.
This plate will out live us all.
Not quite black, but in any normal light it does appear black.
Scratch resistant and very easily cleaned with mild soap and water.
I would highly recommend these plates.
Be advised when I say they are HEAVY, they are as they are made of real metal.

These tripple switch covers look nice!
These metal tripple switch covers make the old crappy plastic white/cream coloured switch covers look like, well, like crap.
It was hard to find the colour I wanted, but HD came through!
Thay are a snap to install, just make certain that you have the correct size screwdriver tip size, and be very carefull not to drop and loose the screws that come with the switch cover, they are HARD to find once you drop them!

This is a beautiful switch plate. The color is definately a gold shade, but the finish is brushed so it isn’t terribly shiny. The color is warm and rich looking. The switch plate is very sturdy and heavy weight metal. I dropped it on my toe while unwrapping it and I can attest to its weight (ouch) and durability (no dents...in the metal). I can recommend this lovely switch plate to anyone who wants to dress up a room.

This classic looking golden champagne switch wall plate looks great in my foyer which has a gold metallic patterned wall paper. It is a very heavy solid cast plate which won't break. It is a beautiful piece with stylish lines that has been finished with great care. I used this plate to replace a standard plastic wall plate and the difference is unbelievable. It is a very inexpensive way to really dress up a room.

I’m not sure how I’m going to get 350 characters in a review about a wall plate. What I can say though is that this wall plate is beautiful. It’s pretty solid and well made. Actually pretty classy without being too fancy for a farmhouse themed decor look. I love the ridges which add to its character and will be buying several to replace white plastic ones One negative is that it is pricey for a light switch cover.

The decorative Amerock wall plate looks great. It's unique with the slightly curve at the top and bottom of the plate. It is oil rubbed bronze that has the dark brown with light highlights on it. This one comes with three toggles but they also have the single ones that match also. It looks very high end. It comes with the screws needed to install it. We are very pleased with it.

Stylish and classy looking switch plate! I have a three switch wall plate in my foyer, right at eye level. I never really realized how tired the wall plate was, until I decided to switch it out with this satin nickel-finished steel wall plate. Six screws hold the plate securely on the switches. The beveled molding is a nice decorative detail making the plate stand above a standard plate, without being overly fussy.
