A:  Yes, it should be no problem with rocks, unless they're too small for the rake to move.

A:  No. I would recommend a higher quality rake with fewer tines.

A:  This rake was designed for those lawn and garden applications where you need a rake with a little more rigidity than what is found in standard leaf rakes.

A:  No - buy a better heavier steel rake, They seemed good but weak were it connects to handle.

Despite what the 15yr warranty indicates, not built to last.
Purchased in 2020, used a few times, weld gave on the head while doing basic garden raking.

                      ANYTHING BESIDES THIS RAKE
You could tie sticks together with twine for a higher quality rake than this. The weld broke while raking leaves, customer service would not honor 15-year warranty because I did not have receipt. The rake is obviously not 15 years old and looks brand new. I would implore you to look for another brand.

This is a perfect example of the ubiquitous rake found in most homes. Not needing batteries, extension cords or gas it relies on human power for operation. And there lies one of its greatest features--it can be used anywhere . . . and by both lefties and righties as it is as ambidextrous as a hammer or screwdriver--wonderful tools in their own right. Some would say, "This is just a rake," but they would be missing several vital features: The handle is long enough to reach under low bushes to clear out debris and strong enough to lean on when the boss is not looking. It has a padded, rubberized end that feels good against your cheek when you need to rest you weary head. It does have the quintessential feature of all rakes that of being an example of a 1st class lever. Lay the rake down, tines pointing up. When you step on them the rake will pivot and whack you in the head but remember the padded end? It will cushion the blow! And if it doesn't pivot you can reenact stepping on a pungi stick which was used to good advantage by the Viet Cong in Viet Nam though the U.S. arrived at "Peace with Honor" at the end.

                        great until it broke
Lasted 3 years of heave duty use before it became useless. Will be replacing it with a single welded rake.

I've owned this rake since May 16, 2020. Today, on August 9, 2020 it broke while I was raking vines out of a flowerbed. it broke cleanly at the poorly done welds.

                            Not for heavy use
I bought this rake to move some dirt and rock for my patio project. I could tell within the first few minutes that this is not a rake for moving dirt and rock. Get something a bit more sturdy. The tines were flimsy and would bend when trying to move clumps of dirt. I then began to just use it for light work to avoid breaking it. The other thing I don’t like about this is the wood finish. I’m not sure why some of these companies don’t take the extra time to add a proper finish. The wood is very ruff almost as if you slide your hand across it just right, you might get a splinter. The foam handle are nice though to avoid at least one hand getting a splinter.

                              Only lasted two fall seasons.
I bought this rake in the fall of 2017 and the head came off in the fall of 2019. This rake was used on a 1/16 acre grassy area of my 1/2 acre property. It was only used during the fall months. Sure wish I kept my receipt.

                                Only lasted a year
I used this rake to clean up several projects on my property. When it worked, it worked well. I cleaned this off after every job and hung it in a dry garage. I ended up with one bent tine but no big deal. Towards the end of it's life the rake head was also leaning to one side. Until today, when the head popped right off, just like the other reviewers. We see a poor design where the head is held in by friction alone. Theres a metal sleeve which retains moisture and doesn't provide enough support to the handle. The wood rots out, it splits four ways around the rake head, and it pops out. It lasted 1 year, tops. I don't think I'd buy this model again. despite thinking it was an upgrade over the store brand.

                                  Absolute trash, 0.0 stars
Took this out in my yard for the first time and the head of the rake completely detached from the neck. Clean break where it was welded on…or maybe super glued on? I didnt even get a chance to take the stickers off yet! Literally the first swipe I took it came off with little to no effort. If I could have rated this lower than 1 star, I would have. 0.0 stars.

Junk. Lasted less then a month.
Used it on one project and it could not complete it. Now I'm wasting an hour of daylight to go return a broken rake. Do not buy.
