This is a 1pc unit and will not be 'boxed'. It will come with protection over the skirt area, as well as some framing around the outer perimeter. You will need a clear space of 54"x 29"x73.25"

The unit is 54" and is intended to be mounted to the wall studs. If you are measuring your dimensions to the Finished shower, then Yes, it will probably fit. On the Home Depot website for this unit, you can look at the Specification sheet and look at the overall dimensions and installation instruction, this might help you make a better decision if the unit will fit or not.

Although it is possible, I would not recommend. The unit is not designed for this type of install. Also, cutting the unit in this manner would void the warranty.

The Threshold is 3.5" wide.

Hello, The 3.25" dimension is the cutout size for the drain and the 4.25" is the strainer size. The 4.25" is fine to use. Thank you for your question.

This is made with our ArmorCore bottom support as well as having wood boards that help tie in the apron. It is not required for warranty, but if you are concerned, and want a 'rock solid' feel, you can do what is called "Bed" the unit. You can get some inexpensive Non-Shrink grout and place a donut around the drain, about 12" out from the drain, or four or five softball size mounts. You want it to be a dough consistency. Then when you set the unit, make sure it is sitting level and on the ground. this will give you extra support on the bottom. But again, this is not required. Hope this helps

This particular unit is only offered in the Center Drain configuration. Sorry, we do not have an option in this size for Left or Right.
