Q:Everywhere I find these states any length longer than 7 feet come in two pieces with a connector. The description for this 8 feet rail says one piece. Is this accurate or will it come in two 4 feet sections with a connector?

All of the components have a "Made in America" quality feel to them. They are heavy and feel sturdy.
The product came on time and was well packed / protected. I did note the box had a dent towards the center, it's not protected with any rigid cardboard, that could be an improvement to their packing.
The handrail could be 1/4" smaller in diameter, I fear that elderly or small handed individuals may have difficulty gripping the nearly 2" round handrail - it will meet IRC code, so I'll install it. But it could be better by reducing the size.
Disappointed that the kit is advertised to include self-threading screws, unfortunately, none came with the kit. I emailed the manufacturer and never heard back.

Look and feel amazing
These look and feel GREAT. There was some concern between my local inspector and whether or not they are safe since they don't return to the wall, but where I have them installed, it shouldn't be a concern.
Very easy to install as well. All aspects are great quality and feel very premium
