Yes, and good luck getting a box of 16 perfectly usable tiles. As other reviewers mentioned, many are cracked, chipped, and completely unusable.

Are the tiles Flat semi or glossy

They're more matte than glossy. And they'll get covered in dust as soon as you do anything with them. I ended up repainting my entire ceiling by the time we were done just to get them to look good.

Hi there, If I bought these tiles, would I still benefit from purchasing Soniguard's Thermal Insulation tiles as well to put above these tiles, or do they not make a difference if you have the Armstrong tiles? Hello Devin, Armstrong does not recommend back loading our ceiling tiles. Our tiles are not meant to bear any extra weight on the tile. We would not recommend doing this. If you do put any bat insulation (R19 is the max you can use) in your ceiling, it must be laying on the grid, not the tile itself.
