A:  Hello, Thanks for your question. This bidet is easier to clean as it locks into place onto a catch plate that is installed onto your toilet. When you need to deep clean it it can easily pop on and off to clean. Additionally, our recommendation for cleaning would be to use a high pressure hand held steamer to get into any nooks and crannies that might get dirty. A:  I think it's strongly made, I'm 6' 245 lb male, and no indications of stress or weakness ever seen on the seat, etc. I might guess (and is only and just a GUESS) that seat, etc would readily support 400 or 500 lbs.) I'd suggest that sitting straight down on the seat would not be a problem for anyone, any weight. Suggest the thing to avoid MIGHT BE 'applying' huge lateral forces, I mean appling huge forces forward and backward on seat MIGHT or COUKLD cause movement, not damage. , Although "lateral " movement never been a problem for me, never seen by me. But the seat is designed with slots on both sides, slots are maybe 1 and 1/4 inches long, so as to allow adjustment forward and backward, so you can "tune" the seat position, not just for ideal fit on the toilet bowl, but also ideal preferred positioning for you and your body type, I suppose males maybe like the seat a little farther to the rear, like I have mine, means more clearance from side of bowl, and this position also fine for women and girls. Or at least none in my house have ever complained or commented differently. But bolts go through slots in seat back base and into holes in tabs on side of bowl (these holes are found on every brand and style of toilet) then these bolts are tightened to secure seat in that preferred position, and these are bolts are nylon, which is the right material, so you're not stressing any bowl porcelain or seat material with, say, metal bolts. So it's important to that the nylon bolts and nuts are tightened snugly up to the supplied nylon flat washers, to keep the seat in that preferred position. But one does not try for maximum torque on these bolts, one does not use, say, a pipe wrench to tighten them. Maybe needs sonethibg of a handy man's touch to get them snug, but not using so much force with big wrench that the nylon bolts are stripped. But my seat has never moved since day one. And the bolt/nut/washer kits are also sold separately at HD, I think like $3.99 or $4.59 for the kit, or similar price, so if you're not the experienced handyman type, and you happen to use too much force, then $5.00 bucks or so gets you fixed up. No negatives with these toilets really. Except maybe if you have large family, one is not enough, soon enough everybody wants to use only the bidet toilet. It's a million times better than toilet paper, and even kids soon prefer the bidet. The thing saves you money. Reduces TP purchases, reduces laundry especially for kids, and I think being super clean is also a health benefit. Maybe the other negative is, soon enough, nobody wants to use the bathroom at local restaurant, they will choose to wait until arrival at home, use the bidet. Toilet paper is soon seen as.....undesirable way to do business.
