45-Watt LED Grow Light - 3 Band-Light Spectrum, Optimized for Big, Fast Growth, Use From Seed to Harvest

In the short time I've had the light I've had no problems. I have it in a windowless garage providing "sunlight" to two good sized tomato plants (about all that fits under it). Both plants are doing fine. Nothing special about its performance or price, it simply does what is expected of it. For now, I would recommend it .

Very nice grow light. Everything is sprouting! Only negative is one of the units power supply's prong broke off. I emailed the manufacturer but have yet to get a response. It would be nice if this had an on off switch. Also worth noting due to the size of the power supply you can only fit two of these on a standard 6 outlet surge protector. But the best news is that all of my seeds are able to sprout! Happy Gardening!

I've had no problem with this light. I like it it's black it goes with my living room I bought a biodome that fits it very nice. Not only is it functional but it's fashionable. Only thing I would change about this item would be its price. I would have rather paid $50 then a $100 but that's me. I liked it so much I bought a second one and might get one more.

Just what we needed for a science experiment. Liked that it did not get hot. We used it with the legs on, and you have to be careful with it, but it was sturdy.

Seed starting perfect the pieces that are supposed to hang broke but the light itself pretty good.

My wife has some exotic flower seeds along with some Japanese bonsai tree seeds. We don't have a lot of room for a large grow light in our home. And as we live in snow country starting the flowers and trees outside was not an option. We had looked into greenhouses but the cost of them put them out of range. That's when we came across this small footprint 45 watt LED Grow Light. This light is just the perfect size for our home. I have not been around grow lights very much , however, the quality of this light seems to be good. The light can be hung by chains or set on the included stand. The only thing I found that could have been made better was the legs for the stand are just a little on the flimsy side. Don't t take me wrong, they work fine but if you have small children or pets you might have to place it accordingly. That's the reason for only four stars.

Hail to cold weather growers and planted aquarium lovers, the perfect grow light is here! WHAT YOU GET: 45w grow light, power supply, adjustable stand and hanging hardware. WHAT YOU NEED: Nothing aside from a power outlet within 6 or so feet. You can use this on it's stand or hang it above your plants and what you need is in the box. USE: Plug in the light and it shines bright. No buzzing, no humming. I have this above a glass cover (the fixture CANNOT be exposed to water) on my planted 55 gallon aquarium and it works wonderfully. Plants are vibrant, no algae and the fish really look great under it. Even my anacharis is flourishing and it will usually melt this time of year. It loves the full spectrum of light. You can also use this on the included stand for terrestrial plants. OVERALL: This is way less expensive than a so called aquarium light and is much brighter. I highly recommend it.

This is a great it,, all you have to do is screw on the 2 legs and plug it in, I have a few Indian Tobacco Plants, they were outside and weren't doing well I think due to the amount of rain and lack of sun the past 2 weeks...They were starting to yellow and droop.. I got the grow light, put it together and put the plants inside under the light, with a timer turning it on and off ,,, after 2 days they looked good and after 4 they looked great.. This light is like a plant doctor... I now have some seedlings under it and they are just starting to sprout after 4 days.. I can see this being very handy as well as starting and growing it will also help your plants that are lacking,, Its very portable and LED's cost almost nothing to operate..Its well made and the LED's also last forever, A good investment for beginner to expert

I am detetmined to have an herb garden. The last out of many many times I tried to grow them was with a grow light system. I failed because the seedlings developed HUGE root balls, they could not be removed from the initial planting medium and got too tall to stay under the grow light. The few I managed to transfer from the water to the soil died because the root balls were too massive to adapt. This Black Magic 45-Watt LED Grow Light has everything it takes to remedy all the problems I had. It is a stand or hang alone unit that can be used over any planting medium. It is designed for all stages of growth from seed to harvest. When the plants no longer can fit under the light on the stand, the light can be hung with the included hanging attachments. I am super excited to get my herb garden started. It will be wonderful to cut my fresh herbs this winter. Great product!!

This grow light kit will be very useful come time to start growing our vegetable seedlings indoors again. You get much more than just a grow light, as it comes with adjustable leg stands which you can attach the grow light itself to. Attached to the leg stands, the grow light can be also be adjusted in position. It also comes with a hanging system consisting of a carabiner, metal wires and four hooks, and you can attach these to the top corners of the grow light and use it in a hanging or overhead position, without using the leg stands. Furthermore, it includes a power adapter with a 6 feet long cord which plugs into the grow light and a 4 feet long electrical cord, so you have about 10 feet of electrical cord from grow light to wall outlet. Each stand leg can be individually adjusted in height by 6 inches, to create more distance between the grow light and your seedlings/plants. I do find there to be a bit of a negative: this grow light doesn't automatically turn on at dawn or off at dusk, and it doesn't have a switch to just turn it on or off, so you'll have to plug it in or unplug it in case you do not want it on 24 hours a day. Per the description, the average life of the grow light is 25,000 hours. Looking on the Home Depot website, I could not find the same type of replacement grow light by this brand that will go with the leg stands, the hanging kit and the power adapter, in case the light fails or it's no longer bright enough for growing. We have not yet used this grow light to start seedlings as we usually don't plant seeds until early March (due to the climate in our area, we cannot plant most vegetable seedlings outdoors until mid-April or early May) so I can't say how well the grow light itself works at this time. When I showed it to my hubby though, he got very excited and he wants to start using this grow light to start seedlings indoors during the winter months here, and possibly obtain a small greenhouse to keep them growing in there, giving us a larger variety of home-grown veggies than the ones we are able to grow in our backyard during the late spring and summer months.
