Promo 2 Gal. Basil Plastic Watering Can

I like my Promo 2 Gal. Basil Plastic Watering Can, it beats dragging around a hose and continually walking back and either get the kinks out or free it from getting caught on one of our trees or bushes. This is lightweight and durable. Had another watering can, when filled with water it became flimsy so I gave that away and tried the 5 gallon bucket and that was no fun, but this is nice in that it carries 2 gallons and has a long neck, which I like because I have to reach into the garden to water and it makes it easier than trying to step over the fencing.

While I applaud the selling of US made products, the sample I received will require garden gloves as the plastic flashing was not removed and presents a sharp edge along the seams. This 2-gallon high-density polyethylene container has a spray head that can swivel, or it can be removed revealing the pouring nozzle. The plastic is not as thick as a laundry detergent bottle which is concerning for a product that will be used outdoors. I worry it won’t hold up to sunlight and may facture along the seam. Due to the pail being made of type 2 plastic, at the end of life it can be recycled. When pouring, there is a lot of water throughput as to not be a gentle spray. All in all the build and finish could be better for being a watering can.

The Promo 2 Gal. Basil Plastic Watering Can is a huge upgrade. I love the 2 gallon capacity and the rain-head spout that is also removable for precision watering. The watering can feels sturdy and well made. The removable nozzle is attached securely so it won't fall off in the middle of a pour. That was the case for my last smaller watering can and it drove me nuts. The large capacity can helps me avoid messing with the water hose altogether. Right now we are in a water restriction, so we are not supposed to use our hoses to water the plants. This is a life saver for such an occasion.

This is the perfect size watering can, not so big that it's too heavy to carry around when full, and not so small that I keep having to make trips back and forth to fill it up.  I live in an apartment; I have a balcony/patio, everything is in pots so every time I need to water I have to fill up my can and go back and forth, this can just cut my trips to the kitchen by half because it's twice as big as my old can.  I do love that I can just pop off the white shower style end for when I want to water my bigger pots, the water pours out much faster that way, and for my smaller more delicate flowers I can pop the end back on and it's a gentle pour of water which comes out slower.  The opening at the top is nice and wide, the whole thing fits in my kitchen sink and is very easy to fill.  I also love the shape of the handle, makes it super easy to hold having a grip on the top and the back.  The plastic is sturdy and well made, not anything I worry about getting damaged if I accidentally knock it over.  I definitely recommend it, great for indoor and outdoor gardens, plants and flowers.

This watering can has proven very useful, and in a way that our prior and smaller can could not. Its larger capacity avoids spillage, especially when filling it about half full. At that level, there is ample water to handle many of our applications. The large fill top opening allows for easy filling and simplifies adding things like liquid fertilizers. My wife likes the sprinkler head; given the curved handle, she can easily control its output. The lightweight can makes it even easier for my wife to handle.

This bloem living, 2 gallon, made in the USA watering can is well made and has very good balance when carrying and pouring. The plastic molding is well done and the spout stays put with a molded bump/detent to hold it in place, yet is easy enough to remove by hand if needed. The spray pattern created by the spout allows for good flow and seems gentle enough to not crush delicate plantings. This watering can will be a solid addition to your gardening.

Just replaced an old plastic watering can and I’m glad I did. This watering can is larger and versatile. First off, it is light weight and strong enough for garden work. The large handle gives you the pour flexibility down to the last drop. What I really like is the removable nozzle, I have everything from flowers to potted trees. The rain nozzle has a generous but gentle pour and no nozzle water flows effortlessly. Another added feature of the removable nozzle, no more small pieces of debris getting trapped.

Two gallon plastic watering can is lightweight and perfect for surgical watering applications like potted plants and flowers. Spray is gentle and very easy manage. Perfect for spring starts and for areas where a connected hose spray is inconvenient and over kill for what is needed. Over-watering is minimized as known water quantities can be applied

This is a plastic watering can that is larger than the cheap little ones. It holds quite a bit of water, which can make it sort of heavy, but you don't need to fill it all the way. It pours very nicely. I plan to use this in my garden which has a large water tote for a supply. This will mean fewer trips between the tote and the garden beds. I was worried the plastic would be thin, it holds up pretty well when full of water.

This review reflects FedEx's delivery. They left the box at the end of the driveway close to the streeet, and I only came upon it by accident. Otherwise, it looks like the watering can will fill the bill.
