Hi, thanks for your question and interest in model # HCP30E52UC. According to the installation instructions, the appliance may only be installed directly next to a cabinet or wall on one side. The wall or cabinet clearance must be at least 2” (50 mm).
Hi, I wanted to know how many fan speed settings are there. I am getting conflicting information on this. It appears to be 3. My other question, is if I am correct that there are three settings, what is the sones/db level and the CFM for every fan speed

The wall we are installing this hood on tall and the ceiling is slanted. Do you make a frame to put on the top of the chimney to make it look finished if we don’t go to the ceiling?

This is the 3rd hood I’ve received damaged from the factory. They are cutting away the protective layer to reveal the Bosch logo and scratching the chimney in the process. Why does this continue to happen? Easy fix - stop it!!!

This is the 2nd Bosch hood I have returned. Even after calling out the damage being caused to the chimney by the factory cutting through the protective covering to reveal the logo, the 2nd hood was damaged in the same exact way.

Will the factory stop the practice of cutting through the protective covering on the chimney to reveal the Bosch logo? This is a completely idiotic thing to do. It results in the stainless chimney being scratched up by the utility knife.
