Not worth the money
I thought Bosch was an upgrade APPLIANCE in an hour disappointed after placing my entire kitchen with Bosch products.
The oven is made of very thin aluminum and dents easily. The door leaks between the glass panes and I have owned them just over a year.

The Bosch 800 Double Electric Wall Oven works great, however the LED display could be brighter and the alarms could be louder. However, it could my hearing isn't as good as it once was. Overall the oven works well in all settings and it's clean looking. I think the quality is worth the extra expense.
It blends perfectly with the rest of our kitchen and was simple to install.

Still learning on them. Only have had them for a month. But with thanksgiving and Christmas coming I'm looking forward to really getting good use out of them.

Fantastic ovens—have to get used tocontrol panel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Almost went down from 5 to 4 stars because of the non-intuitive nature of some controls, but that is the only issue. Faultless otherwise--so 5-star worthy I believe. Self-cleaning is superb. Temperature control is perfect. BTW--been using it TEN YEARS!

Absolutely brilliant
I got this Bosch unit to replace the contractor grade (read cheap) unit that was in the house when I bought it, and was a pain to use because the temperature setting was at best a suggestion, and on average a vague guess, not that it would hold any temperature anyway and required constant monitory and fiddling. In addition, the heat throughout was uneven and cleaning it was high adventure.
The Bosch, however, is absolutely brilliant. Set the temperature, and it stays there, heat is even left to right and front to back. The two lights and large glass make it easy to check what is going on (old one might as well have been a submarine porthole). Not having the exposed lower heating element, it is a snap to clean, having struggled with balky racks in other ovens, the telescopic rack is a marvel.
The overall design and black stainless gives a nice clean appearance and would fit in most kitchen decor. The controls are easy to use and intuitive, plenty of settings and the convection broil is a genius option, especially if you are using it to finish sous vide meat of some sort . Overall, I find I use it more than the old one just because, stealing from an old BMW (speaking of Bosch electronics) slogan, "Freude am Kochen."
There is only one thing I would suggest be changed. The single unit has an air fry setting the double does not. Using the convection bake essentially does the same thing so it is by no means a show stopper (YMMV), but it would be nice to have that in the double as well.
In a new build or replacing an old unit, one cannot go wrong with this.

Terrible oven
This is my third 800 series Bosch oven and this oven is not the same oven as it once was. It takes longer to preheat on fast preheat than regular. The temperature fluctuates which makes for an unreliable oven. Bosch’s policy is to repair and not replace. This oven is 6 months old. A cheaply made oven. The repair guy & Bosch actually said that fluctuating temperatures were normal now with ovens. My entire kitchen is Bosch and I will never buy any product from them ever again.
