Yes but the cabinet needs to be vented with a grille to allow air out of the cabinet.
Thank you for your question. The 800 Series Telescopic Downdraft System is not compatible with our Slide-in Ranges. We suggest Chimney Wall Hoods, Under Cabinet Range Hoods, or Pull Out Hoods for use with our Slide-in Ranges.
Dori, Thank you for your question and interest in Bosch ventilation. You must purchase blower with downdraft vent hood at time of purchase. If blower will be inside the cabinet along with the vent hood then purchase DHG602DUC 600 cfm flexible blower, if blower will be located between the primary cabinetry and the outside of the home then purchase DHG6015NUC inline blower, if blower will be mounted on outside of home ( roof or wall ) then purchase DHG6023RUC remote blower. HI Jennifer. Thank you for your question.Yes, you will need a blower. Bosch provides three blower options depending on your installation needs: 1. an installation blower which attaches to a vent inside the cabinet. 2. an in-line blower which fits between the vent and outside wall and roof. 3. a remote blower which attaches to roof or outside wall. All blowers are 600 cfm. Depending on your installation application additional accessories may be required.
Hi Ashley. Thank you for your question. The 800 Series Telescopic Downdraft System is not compatible with our Slide-in Ranges. We suggest Chimney Wall Hoods Under Cabinet Range Hoods or Pull Out Hoods for use with our Slide-in Ranges.

Hi rich. Thank you for your question. The Bosch 800 Series 30" Downdraft System, Model #HDD80051UC does have an available Recirculation Kit, #HDDREC5UC with charcoal filter replacements, #HDDFILTUC.
Hi GRS. Thank you for your question. For Model #HDD80051UC here is the link to the Specifications Page: https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/6e/6e599445-8be3-4ea7-bc19-614b6ca18fb1.pdf and the Installations Guide:https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/14/1417cc26-08e6-4223-b071-986d74a343b1.pdf. Due to the depth of the slide-in range, it is difficult to install the Telescopic Downdraft behind it.
Ngolow, Thank you for your question and interest in Bosch downdraft ventilation. You have three choices for blowers: 1) Flexible Blower ( DHG602DUC ) which can be mounted directly to the downdraft ventilation unit inside the cabinet or mounted in-line. 2 ) In-Line Blower ( DHG6015NUC ) which is designed for in-line installation only between the downdraft ventilation unit and the wall/ceiling. 3) Remote Blower ( DHG6023RUC ) which is designed to be mounted on the outside of the home, ie..outside wall or roof. The quietest blower is the one which is the farther away, i.e. Remote is quietest, followed by in-line, then Flexible. The Flexible blower "noise" can vary depending upon the installation location of the blower, i.e. mounted on front, rear, sides, or downward. Typically, downdraft ventilation is much quieter than updraft ventilation given the location of the blower is farther away.
Perplexed, Thank you for your question regarding Bosch ventilation. The Bosch downdraft vent system can be ducted to the sides, down, and rear with flexible blower ( purchased separately ). Note, Bosch downdraft vent system is designed for use with cooktops.
