[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could no longer get replacement parts for my custom made 68 year old electric cook top so I had to replace it. I originally wanted a gas hob, but after carefully researching my options, I came to realize that the most environmentally responsible solution was an induction hob.
I am not disappointed. This cooktop gives me precise temperature control, instant on/off control like a gas hob, and a single off switch for the entire top. It heats water in seconds on the boost setting.
Cleaning it is a breeze - there are no crevices, rings, burner pans or grids. When the pasta pot boils over, a tea towel quickly cleans it up with no fear of igniting the towel.
The only down side was I had to give up my French copper pots that I had collected over the years,
This cooktop is well worth the price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my cooktop. Fast heating and even cooking. Looks very stylish against my white countertop. Well worth the money and extra pans and pots

Reserved look with dynamic abilities. From the smart digital controls with up front access to the speed boost and auto chef settings, this induction unit displays stellar control of your cooking. Five burners, with the largest in the center, provide plenty of cooking space. Being a fan of gas burners, I am very impressed with this induction unit. I have previously owned induction units that performed marginally better than electric units. This cooktop actually does perform just like gas! My husband and I are thoroughly satisfied with this Bosch cooktop!

Excellent appearance, great power, functional space. Upgraded from a 30 inch induction and love the additional space. Burner configuration is very good and temperature control is effective. Controls are attractive but not as responsive as my prior unit. Not a deal breaker.

800 induction cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I love it. Two complains, it is still hot on surface after turn it off if you cook for a while. I was told that induction cooktop should stay cool/warm after cooking, but not hot. You cannot put hands on cooktop after cooking a while even it is not quite hot as radiator cooktop. Second, I never successful connected wifi. I did on my oven, but cannot connect to cooktop.
My wife tells everyone who asks she hates the unit, she can't see where to set a pot because the lines on the glass are not easy to see.

Best purchase Ive ever made!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot say enough about this cooktop. I replaced a gas cooktop with this induction top. I have always preferred gas to electric...until now. This induction is not your momma's electric cooktop. It is so sleek and beautiful, which makes it really easy to clean - just wipe it off. The heat is instant, no waiting and the temp control is the best of any cooktop you will ever find. Water boils in less than 2 minutes. Simmering or frying will hold the exact temp you set, no more going up until it bubbles, then going back down and back up throughout the process. Also, since the heat is generated in the pan, not under the cooktop, all the heat is inside the pan. Much less heat goes into the room and less up onto the cook while standing over the pot. Your kitchen and you stay cool. Since the heat is created in the pot, it doesnt matter what size pot you use, it is always the right size for the burner. Controls are easy to use and easy to see. I also love the style of this top. The big X over the cook areas looks so modern instead of the circles so often seen on electric tops. It has timer that you can use to shut it off automatically, say when boiling eggs or what ever. The power is the best available as well. I shopped so many tops before buying this one. The Boost feature on center burner goes up to 5500w, this is well above any other cooktop at this price point. I did find one other that matched that, but it cost almost 3 times as much as this one. Bosch is a great brand name, and I have never had problems with any of my Bosch appliances. You will not regret this purchase.
