Pretty decent quarter turn. We haven't really had too much issue with these, but some plumbing specialty stores have better versions of these valves, sometimes the same brand, just better made. The most common issue you'll have when changing these out is the nut or the compression fitting won't come off. Most plumbers will use a dremel and saw it off, some cut off the whole pipe if there is extra coming out of the wall, and some have a puller. Once it's off and the copper is sanded nicely, you can easily slip the nut on, slip the NEW compression fitting on(don't be tempted to reuse the old nut or the compression fitting), slip the new valve on, and tighten it with a COUNTERCLOCKWISE turn. Clockwise to loosen. Use two pipe wrenches

I love the features however quality is poor.
I use this supply valve for sinks and toilets. The 1/4 turn is a great feature and reliable. However the female threaded collar developes spontanious leaks in the middle of the body. I have had three fail on me. Sorry no spell check.

I have replaced all three old toilet supply valves with these wonderful valves. The first replacement was eight years ago and there has been no problem with any of the new valves. Closing the old valves always resulted in a leak at the valve. I am expecting that will not happen with these valves as they age. And I love the quarter-turn design. I was very apprehensive about the compression connection, especially after seeing the instruction to tighten the nut only something like 1/2 turn after finger-tightening. I could imagine the valve just blowing right off the copper pipe. But then I found the 1/2 turn pretty hard to do! And in no case has there even been the slightest leak. I did reuse the old nut and brass ring in the first replacement. But I replaced these as well after that and I am pleased that I did. That requires a tool for pulling them but it all worked very nicely.
