Okay, normally I wouldn’t bother with a review of such a small item but…
I ordered two of these escutcheons to replace similar ones on a hundred year old floor mounted bathtub faucet that needed an overhaul. When I received the package the two pieces ($13.00 each) had been stacked together, tightly. I spent several minutes trying to separate them but in the end they were so flimsy and nested so tightly that I had pretty much destroyed them. I was disappointed and ended up cleaning up the old ones and polishing them. They were about five times the weight of the new ones and while the color wasn’t a perfect match, I was happy to leave a solid fix. The new ones, now mangled, were tossed into the recycle bin.
I felt cheated for a very tinny, expensive, product that had been poorly packaged for shipping. Expensive, but not to the point of taking time and effort to return it.
I know- what a whiner. But shame on Brasscraft and shame on Home Depot for this one.

The finish was not what I was hoping for.... having...
The finish was not what I was hoping for.... having rejected the standard offering in store I looked online hoping to find a quality item.This item is lightweight and does not have a high shine chrome finish.looks more like stainless. It was returned, disappointing.
