These push on fittings are so much better than compression or having to solder. Way quicker easier, and though it is a bit concerning that the fitting can rotate. This was installed in a very narrow space, getting a wrench in here would have been a hassle. I actually cut off the old valve which was out a bit from the wall anyway, pressed the new valve on.

Hello Manp-Thank you for taking the time to let us know of your experience with one of our push on valves! We are pleased to hear that you had a seamless installation experience and appreciate the positive feedback. Yes, the push stops are made to rotate, and when use to compression stops staying on one place, it can be a change to see. We look forward to you choosing BrassCraft products in the future!

I need this for a spare valve. We live in a very rural area and it is quite a trip to any supply stores. I keep extra valves on hand along with many critical parts. This is the backup for our outside watering system. As with all products I test them to make sure they work as soon as I purchase them. This valve not only works great it had a premium feel to it. Very happy with this item.

All the products this company sells are amazing and good too. I hope this will fit on our fridge water filter at condo in Florida. I will be going down soon and planning to install new filter and this valve at same time. It was not the exact item I wanted be 1/4 turn shut off are a must in our houses. I will put a piece of PEX with an end cap and just use the 3/8 compression fittings for this job.

An all brass answer when multiple supplies from a common water source (hot or cold) is required whether it be a dishwasher, icemaker, RO filters, or what have you. The push-on inlet (best invention since sliced anything) fits the commonly used 1/2" piping whether it be copper, Pex, or CPCV and the two 3/8" outlets will accept the various style supply connectors available. Both outlet connections are controlled by a single shut-off valve so if independent control of each supply is preferred there are other configurations of this device available. Aside from being easy and quick to turn on or off, I like quarter turn valves better than multiple turn because it eliminates the need for a packing gland which is the most common source of leaks and also eliminates the stem and seat arrangement which when worn prevents complete shut-off when wanting to disconnect a service line. Also, push-on connectors can easily rotate after installation (without causing a leak) which enables preferred positioning of the outlet lines.

have a project of adding another faucet to my kitchen sink and needed a special fitting. The 1/2 in. Push Connect x 3/8 in. OD Comp x 3/8 in. OD Comp Dual Outlet Angle Valve fit the bill just right. The Shark Bite 1/2" fitting hooked up to my PEX line with ease. And the 3/8" compression fittings were a snap. The whole process took less than 30 minuets. And the results were no runs, drips, or errors.

I am using this valve in a travel trailer where I am converting from plastic pipe to copper. I have two needs for cold water and this provides a 1-in-2-out connection. I was able to connect the fitting to water at 65 psi to test it. It did not leak. I prefer to use stainless steel hoses with 3/8 to 1/2 inch connectors for sinks so that mice cannot chew into the line. Inside the BrassCraft box are 7 cautions. Most involve the "O" ring inside the fitting. The "O" ring is used to seal a connecting pipe to the valve. High heat can damage the "O" ring so do not solder when fitting is installed. High water temperature over 115 degrees seems to weaken the "O" ring. If you run your water heater at high temperatures this may be a problem. My trailer does not have this problem.

I am not a plumber so Sweating pipes is not my thing. The easiest thing I used for the longest time was the hoses with threads. About a year ago, I purchased PEX equipment. I found several instances in restaurants where we had to repair pipes. PEX seemed fairly easy and since using it several times, I have really come to like it. The next issue for me was having to deal with meshing PVC and copper or even quest. PEX is so much easier and Brass craft makes several fittings that work great. The fitting here works and allows for simple connection. Brass craft was easy to match up 2 different types of pipes

I love, love , love these. I replaced at least 50 valves over my 60+ years. These are the very best I ever used. They are by far the easiest as well. just clean the pipe and push on. never had a leak with one of these. great for sink-dishwasher, sink-refrigerator, sink-water filter etc. fast on-off just a quick 1/4 turn to full on or full off. solid well made.
