Does this cover tube require a special escutcheon ? Or will a regular chrome escutcheon slide over it ?
Asked by Bob May 29, 2016Clean your 1/2 inch copper pipe with steel wool. The chrome plated cover will slide over it and the end should slide into a regular sized diameter eustachian cover. A compression type shut-off valve works nicely on the end. It will give a nice appearance.
What is the best way to cut this in smaller lengths?

Asked by JB November 6, 2015Hi JB - this cover tube is meant to slip over the exposed 1/2 in. copper tubing (stub out) from the wall or floor before you connect the shut-off valve to the pipe. Will this fit over 3/8" galvanized pipe?
