A: They're primed white my suggestion would be yes. But good note is it doesn't take much paint because of the primer

A: roughly 5 doors.Measure twice cut once and protect your eyes and ears !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A: It depends on the size of your doorways. Measure the height and width of each doorway. Double your height (to account for left and right side of doorway). 168 in length pieces is 7ft.. so if you have 7ft ceilings you’ll need one piece each for the left and right of the doorway.. if your doorways are 3ft wide you’ll get two doorway ‘top pieces’ per piece of molding. In other words - if you’re doing BOTH rooms of a doorway you’ll need 5 pieces of this to complete one “doorway” (or four “door frames”)
12 pieces 7ft long in this pack...
you’ll get four doorframes and will have two pieces leftover. (Or two doorways)
3 packs = 36 pieces
You’ll get 7 doorways (or 14 doorframes) with one piece leftover.

A: Hello. This pro pak contains 12 pieces of 14' casing, 168 total lineal feet x pack. For 7' door legs, this pack would allow for 12 doors.

Answer This Question
A: The profile is beveled for around door and window casing. It will look off and be too short. They make a base moulding which is taller, 3.25 inches verses this casing which is only 2.25 inches .

A: It is not designed to be used as base. "can it be used as base"? Yes but I would not use it that way.
by|Jan 18, 2023
A: I dont think it would look right as base board but it would work as crown mouldings.
by|Feb 10, 2019
A: Technically yes. Just personal preference with your design. There is a different pack recommended for floor molding which most people put shoe molding in front of.

My contractor bought a couple packs of these Pro-pack casing. They don't look smooth at all, see pictures. About 13/15 of them are like that.
