It's a 1" copper pipe. Not much normally goes wrong with these things. No problem soldering connectors onto it. Pay the extra money and get this L rated pipe. It's a little thicker so the ID is slightly smaller. The OD is the same.

The pipe was just what I expected happy with product, in the service department one out of the 10 pipe was different called a few days of the delivery, (always order and have in advance the material on site to do the job) I thought because they did the delivery a few days before they would not exchange it. They did, same day I placed the call, great service.

I was asked to review this pipe, and I'll tell you what - this here is in fact, 1" copper pipe at an exact length of 10'. However, nobody told me there are cheaper and larger diameter pipes for a septic line. I really purchased it based on looks alone, and that may have been a mistake.

Very disappointed. Bought 1” copper tube for a repiping job. Had trouble installing Tee fittings and thought it was because I bought the fittings online at a discount. Had to open up the fittings with a drum sander to install them. Then I found ALL the fittings would not fit so I measured the pipe. 1 Inch tube OD specs are 1.125 +/- 0.0035 The pipe I have is not even round !!! The dim’s I have are 1.125 on one axis and 1.132 on another !!!!!!!!! That is .007 bigger than it is supposed to be and 0.0035 OUT OF TOLERANCE.

Seems to be a fine copper pipe to me. The one recommendation that I have is that the pipe has all of this ink labeling printed on it (not like the picture shown here). In my application the pipe would be visible inside the house. For this reason I had to remove the printed labeling using a chemical product like "goof off". Also note the ends are not 100% square cut so you'll have to shave off about 1/8" to 1/4" inch off the end to get it square (if needed; note pipe came it at 10' 1/2" anyway).
