How strong is the pipe?

I would like to use it to construct a clothing rack, but I know that copper is a softer metal. How much weight could a 5 foot long pipe support?
Asked by: Cleo
If you're going for appearance, you could insert a 5 foot section of steel pipe, say 3/4 inch if it fits, inside of the copper pipe. That will make it plenty sturdy to hold clothes.
