Product Details

PVC Sch. 40 fitting that is for pressure systems where temperatures will not exceed 140 degree F. They are highly resilient, with high-tensile and high-impact strength. PVC Sch. 40 has better sound deadening qualities than PVC Sch. 40 DWV Foam Core and ABS Foam Core. Installation requires the use of primer and solvent cement.

Q:Will this thread on to threaded galvanized pipe

A:  PVC Tee's manufactured by Charlotte Pipe utilize standard tapered threads and can be used to transition to dissimilar piping materials where allowed by local code. Teflon tape is a recommended thread sealant for PVC threaded fittings manufactured by Charlotte Pipe.     Q:Which outlet has the female threads- one of the 2 outlets that run parallel to each other, or the one that runs perpendicular to the other two? The specs say fitting 3 has the female pipe threads (FPT), but I'm not sure which is fitting 3.
