Will this work on a sewage injector pump with a 2 in discharge
PVC products are commonly used for discharge lines, but the answer to your question will depend on the specifics of the sewage injector pump’s 2” threaded connection and operating pressure. Can this be used for potable water
PVC SCH 40 and 80 pressure systems manufactured by Charlotte Pipe meet the requirements of NSF61 for drinking water. However, PVC cannot be used within the walls of a building for potable water distribution. It can be used from the city main or well to the building, but must transition to PEX, Copper, or CPVC.
Will this connect to a garden hose on the 3/4in FPT side? & slide over the 1 in pipe side? Why is it so hard to get a straight / clear answer? Thnx. I've cut out my sprinkler back flow but want to posb use with garden hose to supply water to system. Thnx.
Charlotte Pipe does not offer a "hose adapter" fitting. Please check with your local store, someone in the plumbing aisle should be able to direct you to a "Lasco" fitting that will work. No, this will not connect to garden hose. Hose is 3/4 but the threads are different from NPT. Don't ask me why but they are.

Why is this fitting grouped with slip fittings? In the web site, clicking on the various sizes shows all MPT x slip, except for this one! Why would an MPT x FPT be grouped with MPT x slip? Shouldn't the product Internet #203811636 Model # PVC021090600HD Store SKU #188123 UPC 611942038336 show up when I click the "1/2" size button?
