Product Details

PVC schedule 40 pipe and pressure fittings are used in irrigation, underground sprinkler systems, swimming pools, outdoor applications and cold water supply lines. These fittings are highly resilient, with high-tensile and high-impact strength. Intended for pressure use where systems will not exceed 140° F. Conforms to meet Standards: ASTM D 1784, ASTM D 2466, NSF 14 and 61PVC Schedule 40. Has better sound deadening qualities than PVC Schedule 40 DWV Foam Core and ABS Foam Core. Installation requires the use of primer and solvent cement. All Charlotte Pipe products are manufactured in the USA.

A:  This tee is a sch 40 pressure fitting. While it will fit into the 2" DWV pipe you need to be careful what application you are using it with. For a recommendation from Charlotte Pipe please contact our Technical Services Department at 800-438-6091

I built this tennis training/practice apparatus so she could play in our yard and keep practicing. Using the Charlotte Pipe 1 1/2 inch PVC Tee for the design was very easy to work with and affordable. I find the PVC Tee is flexible and has so many uses. I purchased PVC Tee and 1 1/2 inch piping from the Home Depot on 5/18/20, added a 10' x 10' net and some bungee cords and built the tennis training/practice apparatus on 5/19/20. My daughter loves it and it works awesome! She has a powerful serve and ground stroke and has been outside most mornings getting exercise and practicing. The Charlotte Pipe 1 1/2 inch PVC Tee definitely exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Charlotte Pipe 1 1/2 inch PVC Tee because it is easy to use, flexible, strong, serves many purposes and it is very affordable.
