A: No. The 1 x ¾” reducing coupling would accept 1” pipe on the one side and ¾” pipe on the other. It would not allow for two 1” PVC pipes to be joined. In order to do that you would need a 1” PVC coupling. For a better explanation and/or a recommendation, please contact our Technical Services Department at 800-438-6091.
A: This fitting is used in pressure applications and the configuration is socket x socket.
