Will this cpvc work for shower, with shark bites
I did not use a sharkbite connector when I used this CPVC. Typically sharkbite connectors work with CPVC and a Google search "CPVC Sharkbite" returns results indicating it will work.

Why do your plumbing experts at Oroville,ca. tell people to use pvc pipe tp plumb hot water, seems like a liability issue.

I cannot say what the gallons per minute would be. I am using it for my supply line to my pressure tank and have not noticed any reduced flow in my house water supply. I believe, the inside diameter is the same as regular schedule 40 PVC pipe. It also has a higher-pressure rating than schedule 40 pipe. Not that I am anywhere near the maximum rating. I purchased this Charlotte Pipe to work with Shark-Bite brass fittings.
sorry, this was an error on our part. the maximum flow rate for 1" CPVC pipe is approximately 15 gallons per minute. The Home Depot portal has been updated but may take a few days for it to cycle over to the website. thank you for bring this to our attention.
