Product Overview
ConnecTite fittings are for drain, waste and vent (DWV) purposes only. They are used in gravity-fed waste elimination systems and are for Non-Pressure systems where temperatures will not exceed 140F. ConnecTite fittings are used to make quick, easy and reliable connections. Unlike solvent cement fittings, they do not utilize solvent cement or primer, thereby eliminating the mess from purple primer and the hazardous waste disposal of out-of-date cans of cement. In addition, ConnecTite fittings can be repositioned, minimize down time and are compatible with both ABS and PVC.
- Conforms to the following standards: NSF SE 14974, IAPMO IGC 334 and NSF 14
- Fittings used in sanitary drain, waste and vent (DWV), sewer and storm drainage applications
- 12 times faster to install than a solvent cement joint
- No solvent cement or primer

terrible
Does not stay on pipes. Gasket and metal teeth come off plastic retainer. Just use cement dont waste youre money.

The DWV coupling worked great. It was used to connect the drain line from a free-standing bath tub to the house sewer line. Easy installation and was able to make small adjustments when setting the the tub. Could not have done it with a solvent weld connection.

The metal teeth were very thin and did not make it through the installation process. I really do not like to leave negative reviews, but this item dod not come anywhere near my expectations of what was needed. Perhaps it was my fault, but I thoroughly read the instructions, and the coupling failed in the install, process.
