A:Â Probably not they do sell at Home Depot a hose attachment that is PVC that will attach 1/2 inch PVC pipe it can be found in the lawn sprinkler Department and possibly even in the gardening department I hope this helps they're not very expensive and I think this will solve your problem but I don't think a regular PVC coupling will work for you cuz it what is a different threat

A:Â Connecting a water hose is not a good idea for a for drinking water first of all it can cause backflow and could cause bacteria to build up in the garden hose itself at is not a very good idea so I don't recommend it I would suggest that you talk to the people in the plumbing department are at Home Depot as to what you're actually looking to do and would highly recommend that you follow their advice they're well-versed on what you need to do for each situation
