Q:My closet is 110 inches wide. Rather than buy the 120 inch wide system and cut it down by 5 inches on each side, could I use this 108 inch leaving an inch gap on each side? The system is mounted on the wall and not attached at the sides, correct?

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE
Ordered this unit and another online, specifying local store delivery. Picked up multiple boxes from store, eventually found instructions for this unit. Missing 2 of the vertical panels, and other unit MIA. Online customer service said pack it up and take back to store or UPS pick up. After arguing, told will be refunded for the missing unit and 10 percent discount credited for this unit. I'm left to contact manufacturer to see if I can salvage this. Will never order from Home Depot again.

Great looking and very functional closet
Great closet system - looks every bit as and expensive, custom made (and, actually, it adjustable size-wise) closet. Just need to take a bit of time and do it "by the book", as the instructions suggest.

This is the second closet evolution kit I have installed....
This is the second closet evolution kit I have installed. Good quality. Easy to modify widths (with proper tools). I will certainly be ordering more. Heck we even took the doors of the closets because it looks so good

I ordered four units. 1.Most the boxes are not labeled...
I ordered four units. 1.Most the boxes are not labeled so I have no way to determine which unit they belong to
2.If I open the boxes most don’t have any paperwork to identify what unit they belong to, just four white pieces that look like shelves
3.Some of the boxes do have paperwork with a kit number (eg 240030 or 240031) but those numbers do not match the kit installation instructions I downloaded from the Home Depot website.
4.The install instructions are confusing to say the least and do not list out what parts or boxes I need for that unit.
