Answerthere will be 3 shelves that should be fixed towards the top, middle , and bottom (exact position you can choose) and the rest will be adjustable so you can leave larger spaces between some and smaller between others.

AnswersYes. Drawers can be added after. However the drawer unit is a better deal when bought as a bundle than if drawers are ordered separately. I bought two sets and regret not buying on of the sets with drawers.

I purchased this unit along with the double clothes rack...
I purchased this unit along with the double clothes rack unit for a smaller second bedroom closet and both exceeded my expectations. Easy to install. I had concerns about a unit hanging from the wall and whether it would be strong and sturdy enough (as compared to the systems that sit on the floor), but we were able to attach both units into studs, as it's directed, and it is incredibly sturdy. I had to modify one of the units to fit my closet space and it was easy to cut the horizontal shelves and bars to make it narrower - very easy to do. I've had professionally installed closet organizers in other closets done in the past that were very costly. These are exactly the same in terms of quality and function and were a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend it!

mark the studs and measure where the sides will go on the wall as instructions explain and it goes together very easy. I added some glue to the 3 permanent shelves, screwing the very top shelf in vs. using the metal dowels to hold it. Made it much more stable

We bought 5 Closet Evolution kits to redo my sons closet. 3 of the 14 inch shelf closet towers, a corner piece and a tower that included drawers. They were relatively easy to install and did fit well together. The instructions weren't great and were inconsistent between several of the kits, but it wasn't too hard to figure out. It is an advantage to have this system suspended above the floor as you don't have to mess with base molding. However the bar that you install in order to suspend them is very visible after the installation. I recommend planning on painting it if you don't have white walls. It took an extra 4 weeks for these to ship to us at home but I understand that the supplier and home depot had issues during Covid and the month of April 2020. It would have been good to get email updates about that but it worked out in the end.

We are in the process of redoing all our closets so we have bought a lot of MS kits/shelves/rods/accessories. There hasn't been any major chips or scratches on the long boards or shelves but some are not perfect. We just move those defected boards to high shelves or face them the way you can't really see them unless you are looking. Everything fits together nicely (depending on straight walls of course) and you get enough hardware except no extra Euro screws. The metal hanger in back that the whole system hangs on is only 32". I wish they came longer and they are not easy to cut. I bought 48" hangers online at Bed Bath and Beyond as they sell the same Closet System and have the exact same hangers. They just do not call them MS Closets. Make sure you buy the correct table saw blade for these type of boards to make the job easier and cleaner. And I changed the knobs for fun. Oh, and the problem with the knobs is that the knob screw does not go through to the drawer. You tighten the knob to the drawer face and then screw the face to the drawer. If they loosen, you have to take it all apart. I just put some glue on the screw head to solve this.
