PureBond hardwood plywood is an environmentally friendly, cost-competitive alternative to panels manufactured with urea formaldehyde (UF), which may degrade air quality over time
Contains 100% natural wood bonded with a food-grade soy-based adhesive that does not emit toxic air contaminants
Decorative top veneer, measuring approximately 1/42 in. thick, exhibits the beauty and timeless quality of natural hardwood and are suitable for painting or staining
Water-resistant composition has a higher moisture tolerance than UF panels and is less likely to warp than solid wood
Allow panel to acclimate to interior climate conditions for several days before customizing - for interior applications only
For best cutting results, use an 80-tooth (or greater) table saw blade intended for sheet goods or a carbide-tipped circular saw plywood blade
Common: 1/4 in. x 4 ft. x 4 ft.; actual: 0.203 in. x 48 in. x 48 in.

A:Â Hi,
I would recommend checking at Home Depot. They will know the best option and product for you to use while installing your panel!

Q:Why is it almost 2 1/2 times more for a 4x4 panel than a 2x4 panel? Usually its more cost effective for the larger size. This is kinda a rip-off.

Q:Can this be used for walls in a bath room?

Answer This Question
A:Â You need to consider expansion when the bath room is hot and humid. I successfully used this as an insert panel in shaker style cabinet doors because the groove in the frame allows for expansion and they look great, but I do not recommend these for the wall if they are installed without a gap between panels. I used PVC beadboard for the wall (not available at Home Depot) and it can withstand hot humid conditions without expanding and warping. PVC material also does not rot when wet. PVC can be installed with adhesive so there are no nail holes. If you stain these oak panels I recommend that you apply a sanding sealer first before staining.

A:Â Hi Clyde,
Yes, the panel can be used for wall application in a bathroom. I'm sure you plan on sealing the panel with paint or stain.

A: Yes it is. It’s expensive but looks awesome as a wainscoting in a mud room or dining room. I went looking for a panel last week but it’s a order item. I wanted to use it for a panel in a cabinet door for a cabinet I’m building for the garageÂ

This would is not good for staining. The way the plywood is originally cut makes it look like cheap plywood when stained.
Delivery of the wood was bad. The box was crushed and the panel was broken in half. Customer service at the store was excellent but it took another 8 days to get another piece. It to had damage but I was able to cut around it.

I am sorry this product did not work for you. This is an mdf core product, most beaded panels will need to be a composite core in order to ensure appropriate beading.
Beaded groove pattern creates the character and unique appearance of tongue and groove construction. MDF core material ensures consistent bead depth profile across panel. Beaded Panels can be used for wall paneling, wainscoting, cabinet doors and cabinet backers or anywhere you wish to replicate the tongue and groove appearance of fine woodwork. Panels feature a machined 1-1/2 in. on-center beaded groove pattern. The cutting heads are calibrated to ensure pattern uniformity across the entire sheet for a convincing illusion of tongue and groove woodwork that matches any existing species used. Since beaded panels are unfinished, close color matching with existing molding and millwork is possible. You can finish them or use them in painted applications.
