Edges May Not Install Flush to Wall, Use Caulk
I love this plate for converting ugly old beige outlets to a cleaner and more modern appearance without doing any wiring. If the underlying receptacle is not positioned just perfectly the edges of this plate might not sit flat on the wall behind it. I have several where one side meets the wall and the other does not. If the difference is small you can camoflauge the gap by applying a thin bead of caulk to the back ege of the plate before you install it then wipe off any excess after you tighten the screw.

Redid a bedroom that had ugly old almond colored outlets. This product quickly and easily took care of that problem. Without having to replace entire outlet. Took about 5 minutes and one screwdriver to replace 5 of them. Now they look brand new.
