Before returning, I decided to "test" my opinion that a hole for the set screw is necessary. I removed & replaced several bulbs (most of them not needing replacement). THE OUTCOME: Except for a couple of bulbs that came out exceptionally easily, the attachment on the end of the pole DID start to UNscrew when I had to apply even a little pressure to unscrew the bulbs themselves. A hole in the end of the pole IS DEFINITELY NEEDED ! ! ! ! ! I WILL BE RETURNING the Commercial Electric 11 ft. Pole Light Bulb Changer Kit with Attachments
There wasn't one in the packaging, however I'm sure you can affix a hook on the pole and use it to hang Christmas lights.
No that I know of..
The bulb change will work on track light fixtures if there is enough clearance between the bulb and the fixture wall for the changer to fit in. I have used it many times without any problems.
This is a question for Home Depot, or the manufacturer. Sorry, I do not have an answer.
This is a video I found online from someone describing how our light bulb changer works. Thanks, Bayco Customer Service. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36x37YIKjcQ
The suction has always worked for me on my high ceiling flood light, except the first time I tried it. However, I discovered, after some research, that if the extension poles are not tightly screwed on they will slip when trying to turn the bulb and nothing will happen. Another suggestion, put a cloth over the top on the pole and wipe the bulb. It may be dusty and causing the suction to fail. Hope this works.
Yes
Most fire alarms have a much bigger diameter that a flood lamp so the bulb changer would not work with a fire alarm.
I didn't see any other attachment when I was browsing for it.You might try another store.
