Con-Tact Brand Self Adhesive Creative Covering Solid liner is easy to apply with our original and innovative measure and cut grid on the backing paper. And when it's time for a new look, our Con-Tact Brand self adhesives remove cleanly, leaving behind no messy residue. Multiple creative uses throughout the home kitchen, bedroom, bath, workshop, garage, or home office. Provides a tough protective cover for any object, great for arts and crafts projects. Durable and repositionable for easy application. Product has peel away paper backing that is marked for easy measuring and installation with cutting lines on backing paper to allow for easy cutting and accurate application. Protects horizontal and vertical surfaces and is perfect for indoor or outdoor applications. Made of a non reflective vinyl which prevents seeing through to the covered surfaces.

    A:  It is water proof to the point of contact but it is a adhesive that holds it down so water could penetrate at seems but if installed to a smooth and consistent seems I have not had a problem

      A:  Daz - Water will not go through the surface. However, the adhesive is water based and moisture could affect the adhesive over time. It would be best to test the liner where you will be using it. Thank you for your interest in CON-TACT Brand shelf liners.

          A:  Yes if you are using on a glossy surface and can be reattached easily. If on wood or other surface my not be able to reattach but easily removed

              Contact paper does not stick and is not opaque
              Unlike the real contact paper, this does not stick adequately. It fell off during installation. It is somewhat translucent and shows stains through the material -- the white that I bought did not look uniform. I strongly recommend not buying this product.

                Bought this today to cover the top of a kitchen storage cabinet which I wanted to protect, easy to make bubbles and when trying to smooth out, easily scratches (just passing your nail lightly over the film makes a scratch on it. The surface now looks bumpy and dirty because of the bubbles. Don't recommend this product at all.
