Would this work to use on office cubicle walls as a makeshift cork board? It would be used to hang papers.

Asked by: LWWKY25
It's much thinner than regular corkboard.

Using to cover a serving tray 20" 14" do you cut with scissors or exacto knife. 1/16 inch thick how well does it lay.

Asked by: Ginger
It would look very nice on a tray. The cork does absorb moisture and the after color. It does not roll up, the adhesive back is great. Condition the cork once in a while to prevent drying out. As for cutting, we have used scissors and a box cutter. If you have a steady hand, box cutter/exacto is great for straight lines.

will this product wrap an edge of a shelf? ie does it bend?

Asked by: Beth
Hi Beth, to an extent. Over time it can crack. We have used on a vase, tin cans and it worked great but a sharper angle bend may crack over time. We run it to the edge, just the beginning of the rounding of shelves. It holds up well with a wipe down.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Finished Result Just Ok I bought this with the hope that it would be a nicer looking alternative to typical contact paper patterns, and that it would be a softer liner for my glass and ceramic dishes. It hasn't met my expectations. The installation was more difficult than other liners, as the other reviews have stated. If you even slightly bend it, it breaks. If you aren't unrealistically cautious in pulling back the backing, it chips (see photo), and at this cost per roll, wasting a piece is a costly concern. After the tedious install, it still doesn't perform as you would hope cork liner would. It crumbles at the front edge of the shelf, it isn't much softer than the unlined shelf, and the texture is rough to the touch. The only upside is that it does look nicer than most contact papers. With that being the only positive element, I can't recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cork liner used in drawers I recently lined kitchen drawers and shelves with cork lining. It provides a cushioned surface for china and glassware thus avoiding chips; it is easy to clean; it is attractive. Installation requires careful measuring and handling. Use a sharp knife (craft knife or a box cutter with fresh blades). Use spray adhesive to augment the adhesive backing. Cork lining is well worth the effort it requires to fit and install.

They seem fine, but I just started making them using alcohol inks so I haven't had adequate time to make sure the product holds up, They are very easy to cut to fit the tile and the bonus is that they don't have to be glued on--they stick well after I use a brayer to make sure they adhere well.
