Porcelain is a very hard material, so we recommend using a diamond-tipped drill bit and going slowly to avoid cracking the tile. Also, be sure to follow the shower seat manufacturer’s installation instructions and confirm that the wall structure behind the tile can support the weight. If you're unsure, consulting a professional installer is always a good idea for safety and durability.

This is a floor and wall tile, and while it can be used for outdoor application, we do not recommend it for a driveway or garage as the maximum weight that the tile can hold is 350 lbs. Does this tile need to be sealed, and if so, what type of sealant would be recommended?
Thank you for your question. Alpe Cardoso is 100% porcelain, and as such is impervious. No sealer is needed. In addition, we do not recommend that you seal our porcelain tiles or pavers, as it may change the look of the tile in your space.
