If I used the Alpe Limestone for shower walls, will it collect shower scum and have to be cleaned with every use because of the finish?

While porcelain is less porous than many other tile materials, it’s not completely resistant to buildup—especially in areas with hard water and frequent use. Regular cleaning and proper ventilation can help minimize this issue.

Second, we recommend FILA brand cleaning products to be used alongside 3M sponge. If there are smudge dirt marks (i.e. caused by furniture with rubber feet), we recommend a basic detergent (such as PS87). If the dirt or stains are stubborn, we recommend acid detergents such as DETERDEK or PH ZERO. Another recommended product is the STAIN REMOVER SR95.
Can this tile be used on concrete floor with radiant heat?

I had this installed in my bathroom and I like the look of it, but it picks up dirt easily and is very hard to clean. I was wondering if there is a sealer I can apply that would help with this issue?

Can you put a fire pit on it
Thank you for your question, Greg. We do not recommend using our indoor floor tiles underneath a firepit. Our tiles are not fireproof, and should not be installed underneath fire. Should you be referring to the front of your fireplace, then yes, our porcelain tiles are impervious to extreme conditions such as heat and cold.
